dude.. i said i 'think' it's in arrays.xml lol never proven.. but your best bet would be to open the xml from stock, then copy & paste the text lines for auto-brightness, from stock to custom, then recompile etc.. follow the theming guide for proper instructions on de/re-compiling apk's

I don't know how I got confused about that. I don't know iif I should blame it on my ADD or on my slight hangover I had this morning .
Maybe both . Lol

Actually the one from the stock rom is not that noticeable. Was trying to get that like that on this rom and "perfection" cuz everything else is awesome...

Yeah it is in arrays.xml.
I checked. All he needs to do is change the values(numbers not the folder), in the lines that follow autobrightness, to the ones in the stock arrays..

I can try to do it for him if he wants.
 
Would you please cuz I tried but no can do...

I change the numbers and even the Alarm icon, I put it last (on the left) so its not next to the clock but nothing worked.

Ld quick question. I'm trying to theme still haha. Anyways do I have to use the stock Rom as base? I've seen people say they have used number two but I get errors.
 
you can use any ROM you just have to make sure you switch the drawable-hdpi folder with the stock one. It won't compile right with themed PNGs. I usually do ALL my XML edits first before changing PNGs with 7zip so I dont have to keep switching lol...but if you have to decompile after changing PNGs then all you have to do is switch the drawable-hdpi back with the stock drawable-hdpi with 7zip and switch it back once you recompile...lol...hope that made sense...
 
I am flashing back to v1.7. Having the same problem as a few others mentioned. Extremely slow call ending, and call pad response. Screen rarely illuminates while trying to bring up dialpad during call, unless I hit power button. Overall noticeably sluggish compared to 1.7 and just updated in the last 2 days. Rebooting often which seems to correct for an hour, but then back to lag.
 
As stated earlier-there was a problem with the hosting site. Try a full wipe-redownload the ROM -and flash.
I've had not a one issue with the recent release-not themed just the ROM :thumbup:
Did you flash a theme over this BTW :confused:

Have you noticed any lag on the dialer specially when answering or dialing out?

haha im on it!!! im gonna put out 1 last update to set auto-brightness back to stock and delete those lines from build.prop for the people having issues with dialer..

-only thing i did to auto-brightness was lower each value a little to try nd save everyone some battery lol didn't think would get so choppy but i do notice it as well...

-the update will be able to flash over with no wipe so if anyone asks ill get punchy haha

~Removed all tweaks related to phone & dialer
-fixed issue with stock lockscreen not working
-updated build.prop a little :D
-set auto-brightness values back to stock ;)

Yes, you can flash WITHOUT wiping! ,you'll be ok... i think?
