Hey guys I've been off here for awhile . Hope all is good in personal lifes. I've been working a lot. And don't really have time to sit down and type a message.

I read this threads 3 most recent pages and I haven read about the issue I'm having . Since 1.8 I have lost data while I don't use my phone i.e while I sleep I woke up 3 times the past few nights with no data active had to wait. Assuming since this is only happened in 1.8 and above I was wondering if metro Is messing with me or if it was in a tweak? :confused:

I hope ya'll are doing good and I want to catch up with a few people when ya'll are free

Wow long time no see.

You'll be excited to hear that TEST MODE is running rampant on everyone. happening for no reason and on stock un modded phones too. Wtf? Any reasons to why you think?
 
Will overclocking really effect battery life?(or anything? I see the warning of removing the kernel.. but I want to know if anyone has done it... ) i want to overclock it to 1.3 :D
 
Ok i flash the number 2 rom... I wanted the ics theme instead and now everytime i slide to clear notification the status bar force close

Its been a few . My now ex was preg. " kid ain't mine " so I had 3 jobs and only popped in when I could. Metro may be cutting data use to speed network use . My phone just looks out data signal while its not in use for 1 hour or more which I assumed was a tweak to save battery ill look into it tomorrow I have an app running to log sys files so well see:confused:

Not really. You can even set profiles on set cpu so it underclocks when screen is off.

Yes overclocking effects your battery life tremendously.
I set mine as low as 600MHz when I'm not using it and want battery to last.

yeah i screwed up guys once again im sorry lol i just cant seem to get this damn thing right.. :(

but i know where i messed up lol after figuring out it was not the build.prop tweaks causing the broken stock lockscreen i decided to just clean the system again.. keeping all apps and 2 framework files, re-adding all tweaks etc.. but forgot that i needed another file from framework folder for the swipe to clear mod :/ lol so thats why that happens sorry man im fixing it right now, i just hope thats not what was causing the lockscreen issue.. lol the irony

my menu and home buttons are not lighting up??? and the other two are blinking did i do something wrong?? i deleted all my data and cache and dalvik cache and then i flashed it and then i also flashed the stock lockscreen and when it turned on this happened??? helppppppppppppppppppppppppp????
 
idrifta excellent work .. very nice and fast rom .. but all phones are different ... but with this combination battery lasts me more: brokenout rom v1.1 + homeless kernel v1.3 + kanaida optimizer app..

haha i can beat that ;) i never post my battery charts because no one will ever believe me haha but i keep data off all day, use wifi everywhere i go kinda lol so i get like almost day and half easily, maybe more if i really try.. data makes huuuuge difference, and turning off animations, lowering brightness etc.. im sure that chart isn't just from a fresh install with no adjustments ;) we all have our tricks, but like you said all phones are different :D i just made this rom to my peersonl liking and shared it.. up to you guys if ya wanna use it or not lol

on a side note:

fixed it!! haha im no longer going to promise 'no more updates' because with my luck i just broke something else trying to fix this haha but here ya go!

flash the new version... i fixed friggin everything now lolol but if your softkeys are blinking that sounds more like a hardware issue.. unless im wrong but never in my life had i heard this before lol hope we fix it :D
 
I forgot to say, all day I am connected to MSN using the app IMO .. using 4G all day.. without using apps type battery saver, juice defender, etc

im downloading it right now.. Hopefully it fixes it..and a few minutes ago the menu and the home soft key buttons started blinking but they turned off again and the search and the back soft key buttons look purpleish..

I am running rom #2 1.7 with the kernal that comes with it the speed kernal i think. I also use juice defender on the balanced setting. Thats it. That was with calling people for 3 hours str8 and MANY emails. Moderate to Heavy usage I should say.
