i have a script i use to backup data, system, and sdcard to my computer well with this rom it totally skipped data. I had to go into settings to allow adb root access (keep in mind it copied system and sdcard with no issue) in order to run the command for data I wanted to know if this was an issue I was having or is this a ROM / Jelly bean issue.

BTW I also am S-off but live by my adb :D

ahhhh i see. well i'm away from my computer i can see if adb works with this rom or not later tonight.

Awesome! Can't wait to try the update. I wasn't a giant fan of the original release. Just some minor things that irked me. I'm betting the update is going to be sweet though.

I find just the opposite for me. I love this ROM it works great for me and the only thing that really is messed up doesnt bother me. thats the big text. It is quite blue and with a few simple mod's I've managed to make it a little more red :D it's almost going to suck to update but so what I have to do my mods over not a big deal now its just a matter of copy and paste then flash ;)

just flashed the viper stock jelly bean and was able to adb data with no issue so must be a security issue with the Pac Man. I also downloaded the latest version of that and will be testing it out with adb here in a few.

I'm also testing for the storage folder and making sure that with jb it gives you both SDCARDS for doing EarlyMons How to backup the entire SDCARD with adb.

I've tried to get jelly bam in both chromium and firefox and no go with either one hmmm wonder why i get getting a 404 page

This has been my DD for a week or so now and here is my experience. This is the FIRST time i've had AOSP on this device without LTE connectivity issues. I've tried CM10 a few times and AOKP awhile back and have never been able to get/keep 4G connectivity. I've had the same 4G performance with this ROM as i've had with all the Sense ROMs i've tried so that was a great start. I will recommend this to multitude of user with experiences similar to mine.

My issues: I've had a number of FCs with the camera, to the point where the phone freezes and I have to hard restart. Not great, especially when I really want to snap some pics (two kids, you know the drill.) I just downloaded the latest version today (jewel_LOTK_V2-1_PAC-v18.0.0 -- dirty flashed) and haven't had the same issue so hopefully that's been ironed out or has ironed itself out with some cache wiping. Anyone else having camera issues?

My other issue is with Google Wallet. When I flashed this and downloaded Wallet from Play, it said my device or network was unsupported. I assumed this is a port from a Verizon device or something and that's the issue but then I got the same notice when I flashed stock JB (3.15.651.16 Odex.) Any thoughts there? Is there an apk I can sideload?

Appreciate the help.

i'm on 2.1 and i have no issues with my camera. i do not recall having that issue with the initial release. anyways so far so good with this rom.

also like earlymon said, even though it says it, google wallet will still work.

and by the way i forgot to post that the v2.1 was up a few days ago.

I've seen that "unsupported device" with other ROMs but with this one I download from Play, open it, get this pop up and when I hit okay the app closes.

Yeah. It needs to know that it's on Sprint.

Maybe report to the dev if the build.prop doesn't have the right stuff in it.

And it should be baked in to the rom, so you're only getting updates from the Store.

I don't think google wallet is baked in I don't have it on my phone at all. Ofcourse for me it doesn't matter can't use it in this small town anyways. I would email jamie and find out if it's a known issue he is very good about getting back to you.

Yeah, I don't see that it's baked in, though that would be nice. I wasn't sure about Jamie's email address so I PM'd him at XDA. Hope that's kosher. Should I have sent to the gmail address that's listed for paypal?

Regardless, I'll let you know what I hear.

lol no pm is the way to go for jamie. he's has been great at responding to those. also feel free to post a question as well over at xda. he is great at responding to those as well.

yeah google wallet is not cooked in and since i do not use it, it is not a game changer for me.

I hear ya I'm loving this thing. I am going to give jellybam a try since I have a long weekend and have plenty of free time but best believe I'll be doing my nandroiding of this sweet puppy.
