I never was able to fix the lack of taxi magic tried everything eventually just gave Skyraider Athena a try (not my cup of tea) flashed CM7 last night and so far I'm very happy. I'm on the stock kernal but I want a more tunable kernal I like running my phone a 1.113 it seems to be the sweet spot. My only complaint I've noticed is I can't get a facebook sync account on the phone but that's really not a big deal

I doubt it, but you have to remember that this ROM addiction we all have needs to be fed regularly. The simple fact is that OMGB (or evervolv for that matter) has not been updated in a couple of weeks.

The bottom line is people want the best/latest available and this one is just lagging behind at the moment.

But hey, if it works for you then you should not worry about it and just enjoy it. I actually went back to Senseless Revolution because I have to go away for work this week and I want something I can rely on 100%. Probably give CM7 more of a chance when I return.

jay jay of you liked omgb6 you will love cm7 i would say you could flash it now and it would be more then 100% stable to last you while you are out for work

As of right now, the instructions from Gridlock, who is compiling the builds, is to only use the stock kernel.

Which is ok because it's fast as hell.

haha we are all over in the CM7 forum now lol. Trust me. This rom was good, but the CM7 roms are very, very, sweet!!! lol go far it!

Yeah, but FB sync is nice to have. Mine took a little bit to sync but it did eventually. I could never figure out what it was but one time it didn't and I flashed something else. Then went back and everything was there. No clue, but glad you're liking this one.
 
According to r2doesinc on twitter he plans on releasing OMGB-7 soon, as in today or tonight. He originally said last night. He is concurrently working on OMFGB-1 and it will follow soon after.

OMGB - stock gingerbread
OMFGB - highly customizable gingerbread
 
why use this OMGB was highly unstable compared to all the other gingerbread roms that are starting to come out and unless he fixes all that then i am deff staying with CM7
 
Ummm....unless I'm misunderstanding something here, it appears the OMGB thread has been closed and perhaps R2DoesDroid was banned from XDA? That's sudden.

OMGB has been 100% stable for a long time now, long before CM even had a gingerbread rom for the incredible. Not saying CM7 isn't better now, but OMGB is still a very stable rom and I've been using it as my daily for over a month now with zero issues.

Doesn't appear R2 is banned... the account says disabled, last I remember the account would say "banned" if they were.

It was my daily for 3+ weeks. I jumped back to Sense for something fresh (uber rom), but I'm now on CM7. OMGB-6 for me is just as stable and reliable as CM7 is. It might even be a little snappier. CM7 is further along in the game now with all the frequent builds coming out like hotcakes. The customizations are a plenty as per the usual CM MO.

R2 and cohorts blazed this trail and I'm glad they did!

OMGB-6 is still a viable flash if your looking for more of a stock Google GB experience.

R2 was the pioneer and released a very viable, stable and functional GB ROM very quickly!

I will not ever disparage a dev, but if I had to choose between the three, Evervol seems quirky even buggy to me overall (yes it could be in my head) and CM7, while awesome, is simply updated too often to be considered a daily.

My GB choice is still OMGB6!

He mentioned maybe going stable some time this weekend. Right now the only thing im seeing as a widespread issue, is the camcorder.
