Root [ROM][PORT][FINAL] MIUI 1.11.25-Triumph | 113011-2 (GB 2.3.7 based)

I gave the miui rom a try last night. it was really beautiful. the themes are absolutely awesome. but it felt a little sluggish. i tried adjusting the animations and whatnot but it still felt sluggish compared to cm7 + adw. anyone experiencing this? any tips?

If you turn off hi res graphics in the launcher settings it speeds up alot.

I did switch from the miui launcher to adw and adw seems to run well.

I've found that if you go into launcher settings and turn off "Keep in memory" the launcher speeds up tremendously. I'll try to have that set by default in the next build.

If you use a different launcher, you defeat the purpose of using MIUI.

Hey Isaac, not sure if you meant to include this as partially working but sms seems to behave just like mms also voicemail seems to dial customer support instead of voicemail.

I got a text saying that an incoming message has been revoked due to low balance or something... but I thought it was unlimited texting? Is this a bug or is VM just screwing with me?

well, I do get a 2.3.5 based OS, the interface is still miui for everything else including control over the lock-screen etc... miui launcher just doesn't give me the control that adw has that's all. I still like miui :)

Ok, my bad on the sms thing. sms seems to work fine. vm seems to treat an email to my phone number as an mms and comes thru all corrupted.

Nah you still get that awesome lockscreen and battery bar.

I personally like the launcher though

My battery only lasts about half as long as it did on CM7. Any plans to add Smartass V2 or any other tweaks to improve battery life?

hey i ran this current version and i love it! my only problem is the flip clock widget.... it only displays 24hr time. its no big deal but i couldnt figure out how to chane it lol :D

Txt sending/receiving only works if I call voicemail or send/receive a call. Same thing for voicemail notifications

That's not necessary on this ROM. I'm using the build fingerprint from the Nexus GB ROM. It doesn't get anymore Google than that.

Very true however I fear that everyone who downloaded some of the gameloft games might have incompatibilities. Even tickers CM7 shows them all but upon loading the game and attempting to play, they tell the user that the device is incompatible.

I assume because they downloaded the game on froyo with build.prop mod and were giving a direct download to the Thunderbolts specific apk and/or the fingerprint doesn't fool the game on it's own. I have changes in both the ro.product.model and the ro.product.manufacturer so that may be why cm7 wont allow the games either as they read triumph and motorola before my changes

Also Back when I first made it I wasn't able to spoof the market and get the games to play on the fingerprint alone that was the first thing I tried, lol. Your rom may prove to be different but I haven't the foggiest idea. I guess it depends on whether or not the Nexus is supported by gameloft

Is there a way to break a long txt msg up into 160 char pages when it is sent? This was an option in cm7 and I'm just wondering if there's a way to do it in MIUI...

This is very promising, I have been messing around with various wifi fixer apps in the market and one called "WiFi Fixer" seems to keep the phone from locking up upon waking. It does appear to be "resetting the wifi" during some wakes. This has been working for me for several hours now. Maybe someone can do an independent test of their own?

It is also an open source app.

here is the link to its website http://wififixer.wordpress.com/
