Root [ROM][PORT][FINAL] MIUI 1.11.25-Triumph | 113011-2 (GB 2.3.7 based)

I can. Just tried it. I'm on the latest build (unreleased).

just out of curiosity... hows the new (unreleased) build running for you? any new bugs showing up? also im running the newest released build and it works flawlessly! 3d games even play nice for me :D

i'm also not able to set custom ringtones....

also custom alarms arent working either

on another note custom notification tones are working fine, and so are audio effects.

I've been running it since this morning. I haven't found any new bugs. The new MIUI browser seems okay as well.

EDIT: I'll flash back to the old build and see what's up. AFAIK, they're working on the new build.

EDIT2: Just wiped and flashed back to the old build. I'm able to set an mp3 I have on my sdcard as a ringtone for my house phone.

EDIT3: Oh, I see what you guys are talking about now. I'll check and see if it's working on the new build. I was setting custom ringtones for individual contacts.

EDIT4: Wait, I still can set a custom ringtone (universal) on the old build. It just doesn't indicate it in the menu itself, but if I call myself, it'll play the ringtone I set.

It seems to be working for me.

It seems to be working for me.

that's really friggin weird because it just started working for me also out of the blue... it hasn't worked since i flashed the new build yesterday, and i just set it again to my custom mp3 file and went and called myself and it worked. then i set an alarm to go off in one minute and it worked fine also, even though it didn't work about 30 minutes ago when i tried. lol. but hey if it stays working now i'm happy as can be. THANKS!!! but the only thing that seemed to get it to stick was to set it and then immediately call or do the alarm thing for it to work. if anyone else has that problem try what i just said.

This build is definitely the best! I can now play orders and chaos with no issues, and much better battery life! Thank you Isaac!

thanks isaac87. as usual you've outdone yourself. not that battery life on the last build was bad for me, but it does seem to hold a charge better. keep up the good work.

ayyye!!!! it worked!!!! thx lol

...What specifically doesn't work?

like every time i would set a custom "ringtone" like for incoming calls, it wowuldnt work and everytime i receive a call, it would only vibrate...sms and notification ringtones work fine though....but i got it working now! thx to bing7625

Question: will the next release be based on 1.11.4? Or will we still be at 1.10.28?

EDIT: Also, any chance you could put an option to boot into recovery into the Phone Options menu in the next release?

Enjoying the latest release, battery life is better. But I noticed the * and - buttons are missing in the stock calculator? Anyone else have this? They are really there (and work) but are not visible.

i second this, and could you also change the flip clock to 12hr time instead of 24hr? i cant find a mod that works with the current build. plus, i dont know anyone besides firefighters and the us army that use 24hr time LOL! :D

Thank you, all this time I just thought I was dumb and couldn't figure out that clock. Spent about a half hour playing around thinking I was just missing something, ended up downloading the Miui clock on the Market, It is a hot clock.

The next one is 1.11.4 based.

To your second question, no. I have to manually replace smali code *every time* I bump up versions (among all the other changes needed). If I include the mod in one version and it gets broken in a future build, people will wonder why there's a regression. I'll leave the "third-party" mods to the devs that maintain them. Don't get me wrong, I like the mod, but porting MIUI has gotten complicated enough.

EDIT: I haven't found a 12-hour version of the clock anywhere. If you guys do find one, it's easy enough to add to MIUI. Remember, I'm trying to keep this as "vanilla" MIUI as possible. There are some mods people *do* like and some that people *don't*. The best solution is keep things simple and let people customize how they see fit.

Can you post a screenshot of the issue? I checked everything with the Roboto font before I included it. If there's stuff missing, I'll have to revert back to the default (Arial) font.

After hearing all the rave reviews about the latest build, I just had to try it and I must say.....I'm impressed! While I hate the fact that there's no app drawer, I am def diggin this a lot better than the last time I tried MIUI a few revisions back, awesome work!!

If you use a different launcher there is an app drawer. The default MIUI one works just like iOS.
