Root [ROM][PORT][FINAL] MIUI 1.11.25-Triumph | 113011-2 (GB 2.3.7 based)

I just tried my Tasker profile for announcing whom I received the text message from and it's not working on the 10302011-7 (GB 2.3.7 based) ROM. Anyone care to test if you have similar issue?

After 2 days of use, I also had couple of forced app shut down and "scrambled screen" like the ones shown below. It's like there is an overlay image on the top that I can't get rid off and the underneath layer responds to my touch. I had to take out battery once to shut it down since I couldn't get to the shut down screen. Not sure about the exact cause.

Hey Isaac,
Do you have any idea what is going on with the Bluetooth pairing?
It works fine in CM7. If memory serves me correctly, it worked fine a couple of versions ago with MIUI?
I tried to wipe and start from scratch, but no dice.
If you leave BT on, it will pair. Once you turn off or reboot, it loses the profile.

I hope it can be resolved. I like this ROM, and want to use it as my daily.

Isaac-thanks for all your work.

yep just remember if you're coming from cyanogenmod to MIUI you must data/factory wipe, cache, dalvik cache, and i always format system before flashing... i know it's in the update script, but i do it to be safe.

I found a fix. Should be fixed in the next build.

EDIT: Just tested it with my Scosche chitCHAT. I rebooted, turned off BT, etc. and it still auto-connects. Look for this in the next build.

My battery life now sucks too. :( Went to bed at 100%, woke up at 24%. I didn't test with the previous build, but days before with CM7, the exact same test, the battery went from 100% to 90%.

Had only 3G enabled, with everything else off.

This will be a deal breaker for me... if no fix then I think I'll have to go back to CM7.

As a follow up, I let it sit idle overnight again, this time with everything off, including 3G. Previously the battery would drain only 3%. Last night it drained 15%. In both tests, this is 5x more battery power than before. Interesting. Hopefully the next update will fix this. :)

So I was messing with themes and one of the custom boot screens ****ed up my phone and put it into a boot loop. Had to factory reset to get it to boot back up.

Was there a way to fix it without a factory reset?

I only ask because it's posted as coming soon, haven't seen that b4.

he has done that for a couple builds in the past. the last build was the same. as september said. patience is a virtue, and good things come to those who wait. he is probably just finishing working out the kinks.

Which one so we don't mess with it?

Reflash the ROM, but don't wipe. It won't mess with your current set-up either. (Unless you made some changes to /system).

New build is being uploaded. Remember - I've used the exact same kernel fixes for WIFI that TG implemented in CM7. This includes this commit: https://github.com/tickerguy/WX_435_Kernel-Tickerguy/commit/c0d8dab553858ac660393430a1505830fc59f3bb

My battery life has been fine. This was even on the 10/30 build. I will not be investigating this issue any further after this build. Hopefully, 11/03 will solve the battery drain issue some of you have. If not, you may need to analyze your own phone practices and see what's draining the battery (apps, mods, personal usage, etc.).

Remember to check the changelog and happy MIUI-ing, people.

EDIT: Also, it should be noted that I'm trying to go for a pure MIUI ROM experience. While it's true that I'm still using a MIUIAndroid port as a base, I removed most of their add-ons. However, you'll notice I still name the package miuiandroid_blah blah. This is out of respect for the MA group. I should also note that I won't ever include bloatware in my releases. I like to give you guys a clean slate to work with and you can take it from there.

EDIT2: No wipe is necessary for this build. (If you're coming from the 10/30 build).

EDIT3: It's up.

Isaac, THANKS for removing the boot sound. I didn't realize how happy I was not having one until I heard the MIUI one...so glad it is gone.

I might just give this rom a try first. Still debating. And I still haven't gotten my phone uuugh. The shipping has been on "Billing Information Received" for days.... >.>

Read my comment above you :) Autokiller works great on MIUI.

I am not sure this is still the case. I asked the above question originally because I had noticed that in CM7 the default settings had changed drastically from what I had seen on the stock Rom. For instance, using one of the higher presets like Aggressive my Content provider and empty app numbers had actually been made less aggressive then what the CM7 settings had been. The only number that had increased was hidden apps and it was a drastic increase. After I made this comment I installed auto-killer and noticed that Miui fell along the same line of settings as the stock Rom before applying any changes or any presets. Anyhow after installing the 11032011 build I noticed that the default Rom settings now mach CM7 exactly and are set for the most part at higher numbers then the suggested Auto-killer presets with the exception of hidden app which is set to 39. The question I have is why Content provider and empty app numbers have by default been greatly increased and the value associated with Hidden App has not? I ask because if an Auto-killer preset is selected this number will see a drastic increase along with Content provider and empty app numbers and as I don

Yeah, when I first heard it I was like: :D

Then, after hearing it a couple times I was like: :)

After 20 times I was like:

Now, I'm like:

Same here. Except I started getting annoyed on the second boot up. First time I was like "Oh, Interesting.". Second time I was like....Uh Mmmkay...Third time I was like....Oh Mah Gawd ISAAAAAACCCCCC!!!!!!!

>_> Thanks for removing it by the way. (LOL)

good question... why is the settings - running apps showing i only have around 300-310 mb of ram total? last build it was showing around 330-340 total

edit: now i'm seeing around 360mb free.... weird. and this is all on a fresh install first boot up after wiping and formating everything. very odd never seen that before.
