Root [ROM][PORT][FINAL] MIUI 1.11.25-Triumph | 113011-2 (GB 2.3.7 based)

(im speaking for isaac here and i may be wrong) it is still in testing and will be up shortly once all bugs are worked out (if any) and the rom is in best possible shape for distribution. :D
Ah ok, thanks, I assumed that once the title of the post was updated with the new version release and the OP updated with the change log that it was also available for download. Thanks!

I post my changelogs before release a la MIUI style. Gives me a list to check and make sure I prepped and packaged everything properly before I release.

Oh ok I can't wait! I NEED MY DRUGS got my rubberband ready Togo. I'm at work got busy an took me awhile to finaly post noticed yours after I posted sry bout that Ziggy.

Random issue I've been having with MIUI and CM7. People have been telling me that when they call me that my phone goes straight to voicemail. This does not happen to me on stock. I have also tested this and it works when I first boot up, but then after a few hours it just won't work. Same thing with texts.

I have a theory, I live in a place where I get 1 bar to no signal, and I was curious if when it gets no signal then re-connects that it losses voice/text but still retains 3g. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Does this happen after you are back in a place with a signal, or could it be happening when you don't have one. I know there are certain areas in my house that my phone goes to voicemail, but because it doesn't get a cell signal in those little spots (same for texts). My phone doesn't necessarily show "no signal" but there are no bars displayed in those couple of spots.

Hi there. I'm having the same issue over here. I'm at a place, my office, where the signal is not so good, but before using this ROM I was able to use the phone/text. I'm still have 3G and I can check emails but the voice/text are not working. I flashed the last "parallel" version, CM7, and I have the same issue. When I get outside, magically after a while I started receiving voice/text msg. Another weird thing happened to me also; I sent a test text message to myself and I received it from another number ???????; very weird; sometimes I received from my number; but never inside the office (I have -120dB signal and Virgin Mobile). Could it be somehow this version have a conflict with the programing of the phone. I'm going tho flash the previous version I was using to kind of troubleshoot.

Thank you.

I did not have any issues till I flashed the new krenal that said HD games were working. I text a few people and no one text me back I reboot my phone the next day and I got 8text one after another. Then I text my self it will come 4 to 5 min later

Just tested a fresh install and it does the same thing... Ugh I love miui, but I'm gonna stay on stock for the time being

You know that happened to me. I blame myself for not doing a full wipe. It's the first time I was lazy. The next build I'll be doing a full wipe. =/

Great!

Thank you Isaak you are our Great Hope now.

I expect a lot of noobs (like me) here after the Virgin firesale yesterday.

Yeah, I looked at the VM website and the Triumph is sold out right now!

I'll be checking out this build of MIUI when it comes up, I have been stuck on CM7 but that's just because I was used to it already.

Will this last upload have wifi tethering? Cause I barely tried miui today but the Wifi tether from cm7 is calling me. However this ui is so awesome. Either way I'd like to thank you for porting this.

Longtime cm7 user coming from the Optimus V here. Decided to bite on the Motorola Triumph 120 dollar price on Cyber monday, and was glad to find the triumph has a good community, too. People seemed extremely helpful in the two most popular Optimus V modding sites, and it seems that the community is friendly here as well/ not filled with angry kids :)

First, I hope this is going in the right place. Thinking of loading MIUI on my incoming Triumph, and had a few introductory questions.

If I load one of the new "HD Fix + overclock" kernels plus this new version of MIUI coming out, is there any performance differences on some of the more popular apps if I ramp up the clockspeed to 1.9 or so (compared to a similarly clocked cm7 install)? Things that use the 3d aspects of the GPU, any differences there?

I know Swype used to have problems on all versions of MIUI, so that could be a sticking point for me if I can't text with swype. I also use GrooveIP quite a bit, and am hoping this works well with MIUI. Any other apps that famously have incompatibilities with MIUI?

Are there themes that make the system run slower than others? Live wallpapers on most android/cm7 installs made my optimus V run with a little more chug, but I'm hoping that the triumph has enough raw speed to where this isn't an issue. Obviously, the "ultimate iphone theme" is a popular miui theme from what I've read; is there any issues with this MIUI package and themes?

Thanks guys, its nice to think that there's already a cool community out there for a phone I'm getting.

@mdoggie I just wanted to warn that overclocking to 1.9 is risky. I know others do it, but I would recommend 1.4-1.5ish. There are always risks associated with overclocking no matter how much higher you go, but be careful and make sure you won't harm your phone before going that high.
I am not using MIUI at the moment (I'm planning to try it again soon) so I don't have advice for your other queries, but I am sure the other people will give some input.
