Root [ROM][SAP] BACKside CM7.2 [PORT]

I was running this rom for a while wth no data problems...and now I cant get it to come back on...would also like a solution, im stumped

I made sure MMSFIX was in.

Heres his theme update: GreenMachineTheme-05022012.zip

Here's the changelog:
Changes 05022012: Synced with CM and cherry-picked some changes-- Default keyboard now has option to use volume keys to move the cursor-- Added snooze times to Calendar alarm events-- Contacts now have individual call histories-- Added format option to T9Dialer-- Fixed typo that prevented baseband from showing under Settings>>About Phone


I'm sorry Primed this was all pasted in this format.....I don't have time to fix it right now...I haven't even tried it on my phone yet :p

Um, to anyone who downloaded this, does the about phone say the phone model # is LW690 or MS690? I'm not sure what I flashed in my phone because I'm porting to the optimus c as well for backside.... I think its just the build.prop that I screwed up. But I'll redo the port if someone can tell me that the phone model # says LW690....

sammyz i haven't install it. yet but when i look at the prop file it does read=ro.product.model=LG-LW690
ro.product.brand=LGE
if that help.??

I screwed up the port -_- back to square 1.......I'm going to redo some downloads and redo this...try flashing it when you're able to and tell me what works, what doesn't, if everything works (including MMS) then that's really interesting. The build.prop has some connections with Cricket, I don't know what though.

EDIT: I don't know what happened....It still has metro settings in the build.prop, only thing changed from the one for our phone was the Model #
I think I was doing this late at night, trying to do stuff for the M and C at the same time, I mixed-mashed something, everything should work fine.

I flashed this version, it says LG-LW690. Everything seems to be working OK. Didn't try MMS yet. Will try and post the result.

Just sent couple of MMS - no problem!
 
I'm gonna try to be more careful with porting multiple devices, I think its time for another computer to help me keep everything seperated....
 
nice rom is it me.cause i use reading glasses but lately. on lots of these roms.the status bar icon are getting smaller or do i need new glasses.
also sammyzany new update for the product.model=LG-LW690.???

ok install the rom today so far nice. i need help you know when you tap on the txt icon then on the next screen. usually on other roms on the upper right corner. if you tap there it would show the contact list how do i add that to this rom.??? also mms is only 1/2 working for me.i can send pictures to my gmail account. but when i try to send picture thru gmail no show. i'm on the gnm recovery. should i change over to CWM recovery.????? and how do i make the phone icon go straight to dialer
instead of my contact list. or any other setting.thanks

Get GoSMS app. Sorry, but this app must be used and installed to fix MMS, unless playfulgod can make a new Mms.apk where MMS works with that feature working as well....

yes that should be used with all of my ported ROMs, others have told me they used GNM and it didn't work, they swtiched to CWM and it worked right away, others have told me GNM works with MMS....so I'm not sure what the problem is with these recoveries, maybe it's a different version of GNM recovery because there is 2.2.1 and then 3.06........ :confused:

BTW, with CWM, Camera is the select button, not Menu!

thanks sammyz can you point me to the right cwm to get. i've look but the treads i read were confusing to me. don't want to brick it. what would be the best program to install the cwm.???

If you want to get clockwork mod recovery, just get ROM manager from the play store. I the section for flashing a recovery click it and then you will have to select the recovery for LG mw690 (I think that's what it is, any way it's the recovery for the cricket wireless version of the Optimus M). The cricket recovery will work with our phone.

ok thanks for some reason all the sudden the play store app when i tap on it. it is FC. so i can't download anything. everything was working fine. damn

It's the LG LW690 (Optimus C)

The optimus C is a twin to the optimus M, you wouldn't be able to tell them apart if it wasn't for the Carrier logo on the top of the phones...
