Root (ROM) Sourcery rom V.1.0

Wow. This looks really good. On install I wiped data, cleared battery stats, and Dalvik cache, so the Droid was squeaky clean. Seems smooth and fast. Downloaded most of my apps, and was able to TiBU the rest. Waiting to see how battery reacts.

I was a little scared of changing themes at first, because I thought it was locking up and bricking. I then realized that it actually downloads the theme as an update.zip and then autotmagically reboots into recovery to apply and then reboots back to phone. NICE JOB

Are there any plans for settings to change the notification bar (including displaying the control bar with Wifi, Bluetooth buttons, etc) and LED's? Also an option to change transparency of backgrounds for apps (especially Gmail) would be awesome.

I couldn't possibly think of anything else to make this better.
 
I seemed to not have navigation, it just says it's trying to establish a connection which never happens, not sure if anyone else is having this problem or it's isolated with my phone.

Maps has been working great here , one of our team had 3g problems last evening getting no 3g signal . If it still isnt working. than id say try to reinstall after wiping data and cache. I have not had any other mentions of problems with maps not finding a signal.

How do you clear the battery stats?

This is a very nice ROM, no issues for me so far. One thing nice to have would be to have option to adjust transparency for various apps.

Thanks - I was having trouble finding them mainly because at the time it was not loading the images - I prolly had issues with DNS, my connection has been acting stupid recently every now and again.

That does look like a very nice ROM, I may have to try it out as well...

I def recommend trying it. It's a like UD in a lot of ways, but also very unique. Just kinda gotta see for youself. Battery life has been pretty good on my Droid, too.

The only issue I'm having is random rebooting. There's a bug where if you have the keyboard open and you do something it reboots, but I seem to be getting it in other places. Doesn't seem to be running hot, so I dunno. But considering this is their first go at a ROM, I'm very impressed and very much looking forward to any future builds.
 
I was having the keyboard reboots... almost like a half assed reboot, i just reinstalled without wiping anything and i seems to have helped, i also think handscent was causing issues... froze it also
 
See, that is the one thing I can't have - random reboots. That, more than anything else about a ROM, will make me gun-shy

with that wanted to give you a chance to test rom update.
I have prepared a rom update to make the lockscreen sounds lock and unlock work.

while testing this all of us had problems with clockwork recovery.
we all had to go to rommanger and flash sprecovery than back to clockwork and all was good,

Not sure why it stopped working for all of us the same night , this should not effect sprecovery.

So with that in mind. we suggest backing up before any update .

after doing the normal flash sprecovery and than back to clockwork which im very use to this romupdate worked 5 straight times.

romupdate does not know if you have recieved it before so if you continue to use it it will continue to apply the same patch over and over we are working on a way for it to not reapply an update that has been applied already.

So if your still reading and want to apply the update goto settings and choose romupdate.

dont forget lock/unluck sounds have to be turned on in the sound section.

This update is already in 1.1 that will release on sunday.

I'm starting to have more reboots at weird times. It's never when I'm in the middle of something, but always when I just finish something. Sometimes it's texting, other times web browsing, or after I close out an app. It's a soft reboot, though, and comes back quick.

Also, just last night my call log got all funky. Everything shows up kinda weird, hard to explain, but it's like everything's a jumbled mess. Don't know what's going on there.

Anyway, they're coming out with a new version that should fix known bugs, and hopefully curtail some other lesser known ones. Very much looking forward to it. Because even with the reboots and this bug, I'm still sticking with it, for whatever reason. I just really like this ROM.

I believe the call log getting all squished together is something to do with the theme. That's been acknowledged and should be fixed in the new release today.

Soft reboot - as in your home screen goes to black, and then reloads, or does it do a full power cycle, including showing the Motorola logo?
