i made a a zip called update.zip

with one folder app in it ..nthng else .. nd dat aap folder contained d setup .. but d installation culdnt continue...

m i doin smthng wrong here ????

plzz guide me quick

now is it advicable to use andr keyboard like go keyboard nd same for messaging... can i permanently switch to go keyboard nd go sms??

You can switch keyboard but you can't switch messaging app permanently because without it you wont receive messages it self...
So just keyboard can be replaced

i uninstalld d default messaging app..
replaced it by go sms ( waaaaayyy more bttr nd frikkin awesome luking)
nd it tuk care of d notifications as well .. dint miss a msg

No but in a ROM I tried with two messaging apps but they just force closed without default one and with default they worked ...

i had go sms even wid default messaging app.. sms were snt to both however i allowed go sms to take over d notifications so ...

I want to give my mobile in service center. So I have to give them the mobile without any modification. So what to do for getting stock rom and stock recovery back. I know how to unroot but I don't know how to put stock recovery back. At present I am using clockwork mod and hybrid 3 rom.

Well there is no need for the phone to be given to those ppl !! as you have cwm recovery already just download stock a70 rom and flash you will have the phone as it was ! note without even root !

dear I know here people know far better than service center people bt at present problem is in the hardware. accelerometer is not working. so I will hav to give it to dem only. bt on seeing cwm dey will not take mobile in warranty.

Did you disable auto rotation ?
just try any widget that does the same if the problem stil remains just try backing up current rom and having a factory reset !
also if the problem still persists there is sorry no way to do so .....
as far as i know in case of a70

Mmx ppl don't see cwm even if they do give it a try...!!

And recovery can't be uninstalled unless source is released

The file u downloaded may have corrupted.Re-download the file cause that file has been downloaded more then 50times n no one has such issue.

Yes in the 1st thread which says Newer link...it's uploaded by me n u won't believe it,its downloaded 138 times...

Kk..now I made a new backup of stock rom n wen go 2 restore it, it says MD5 mismatch..wtchn 2 do?..

Reboot the phone,then again go to recovery n try again.it solved it for me once.n I always use pure stock backup provided by theperfectpunk here on forum.it never failed for me.

You have to unpack it and there exists a zip file !

It isn't a zip file..

it's a 7zip file named StockROM.7z,one above the update.zip. n it will give u clockworkmod backup of stock rom.(the link above).U need to place that folder containing .img files into /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup folder...then use recovery to get back to original stock rom.
