[ROM][UNOFFICAL]LineageOS 13 6/11/2017

hi guys, sorry if this is not the correct place.

but i was wondering if anyone here knows how to disable the offline charging in lineageos 13?
i need to make the phone boot up when plugged into charger instead of showing the charging animation.

i've searched and googled and still unable to find a working solution so i was wondering if any of the dev gurus can help me out.

any pointers are greatly appreciated :p

thank you in advance

My texting died again and I found a slightly better solution to the texting issue than wiping all data. Instead, delete /data/system and reboot.
Helps narrow it down a bit at least. Maybe I'll get closer next time my texting dies.

I also have some clues from getprop, there's a chance we can recover using setprop. Pretty sure at some point the phone thinks it's a GSM phone instead of CDMA. I've attached a diff formatted as a patch file, with sensitive information removed.

My wife's phone stopped texting as well. I *think* I fixed it by taking root and then setprop persist.radio.cdma.msgid 28 but we need other people to try it and confirm.

edit: http://buildpropeditor.jrummyapps.com/system-properties.html makes me think this won't work

Thank you spock1104 for the continued development of custom rom for this phone. The stock on volt is just unbearably sluggish and CM/LOS is definitely giving its user much better experience than today's low end phone even after all these years.

lg l90 had similar sensor issues with bosch driver. On the latest lineage / RR that have over at xda these sensor issues are completely solved. If I got time in the following weekends I can try and take a look at what they did.

They have all sensors (including proximity) and dt2w working.

OP updated with a new build. Only a sync this time.
I clean flashed it, and it worked fine, till I tried rebooting it, and it took forever. I suppose I now have the "slow booting" bug.
Edit: It now takes longer than 5 minutes to reboot

I still haven't gotten logs for this. Need dmesg and logcat immediately after boot finishes.

Here it is

Beautiful, thanks!  Looks like the sensor daemon is repeatedly crashing. Might be the partially implemented proximity sensor.
Incidentally, what did you use to collect the logs? I'd kill to see this for every issue and would love to get better instructions out there.

It's called syslog https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog you just install it and press the big button in the middle of the screen that says take log. Super easy.

So no texting issues as of yet?
I'm not using it for service, I'm using a Blu R1 HD with a unlimited everything plan with simple mobile (they throttle you after 2tb). This is just a backup phone with freedompop, and freedompop doesn't use the stock texting app, you need to use theirs, so I wouldn't know if it works for texting.

When you say delete data/data/system, is that in recovery?

What do I do with this patch spock1104?
