Root [ROM][UPDATE: 04/05/2012][bROM v1.2]

Yeah mine has done that on every rom I've ran! Usually turning the screen off and back on works! I believe its more hardware than anything...

That's what I figured cuz it was doing it on cm7 and stock lol, nothing can be perfect but surely can be pretty damn close!

hey to all can this rom be port on csl mi 410,i think this device same with csl mi410,by the way i all ready flash this rom and give stuck on boot,i need all of you help me,also can this rom flash on rom gingerbread and give booting?or need to use rom froyo and then flash this rom?sory for ask and who is want to help me THANKs,i really like this rom,smart,beautiful,gud interface..
 
Wow it runs so smooth im lovin this rom keep up the good work but it has an old version of google music and well i cant uninstall it so i can update it. any solutions?
 
Use any File Explorer that has root privileges and delete Music.apk from the system/app/ directory and reboot. You can also use Root Uninstaller or Titanium Backup to uninstall.

try to delete at data/data/com.(name of app that you delete at system/app)and reboot you phone and then install google musik.apk
 
you weren't kidding when you said your next rom would be amazing. I'm blown away at how fast the phone is now. It's linpack and quadrant standard scores don't reflect it but it does what it was supposed to with no delay at all with nice transitions. Great Job!!!
 
Lol yeah I was pretty pleased with it. I still need alot of kernel work done but I am happy with it. I sped up the time of all the animations to make them quicker!

Yeah for the Google music just delete music.apk and make sure to reboot and it should let you install. If not you can flash the stock music add-on clear tgr dalvik cache and you will be able to install it.

I need to update the Google music app and add it to the next ROM!
 
v1.2 is right around the corner. I'm doing some testing on some of the tweaks I'm adding. Upgrades will include Google play music (the latest one) updates splash image, boot animation, and shutdown animation(I also removed the version number from these so u don't have to change them everytime and I think they look pretty sweet!)

I am also going to add a boot script to clear out logs(and I'm leaving the current one under /system/bin as well) and a script that moves the dalvik-cache to the cache partition.

This update will probably not fix any of the bugs because I'm still working on tracking them down. I hope to be able to fix the wifi and data wipe bootloop issues soon though!

But be looking for v1.2 coming in the next couple days!!
 
Don't get me wrong, I love this rom but I just want to report some bugs I have found to help you make it better.

When viewing video you can only view it sideways one way and it stretches to full screen even if it isn't throwing off the aspect ratio.

Data kept going out when I waould wake up the phone so I had to toggle Airplane mode.

Is it possible to get the new google talk currently available with miui and CM

Also weren't you working on a gps fix for a faster lock with your previous rom? did it get any better results?

What are you watching videos in? I always use MX Video Player and you can choose which orientation. Also on YouTube it should work either way.

I haven't had a problem with data dropping? Is anyone experiencing this?

I believe the new google talk is only for 2.3 & up, I could try but I never use it so it probably won't happen.

The gps.conf included has helped me get pretty fast locks, but my phone was one that locked pretty fast from the store. So of course like everyone has said 1,000,000 times, its probably more due to hard ware, so if it don't lock good for you, its probably your phone not the ROM. Mine locks(on a fresh boot so I know there is no previous lock helping it lock fast) in under 10 seconds pretty much everytime if I'm outdoors and fair weather!
 
I updated the ROM to 1.2. Changes include:

Added more build.prop tweaks(from klehman215's post)
Changed the up_threshold to 75% set for the ondemand governor in my tweak script
Added a script at boot to move the dalvik-cache from /data/ to /cache/ in order to free up space. It will only move it if it's not already there, or if you clear the dalvik cache. To move it back, remove the execute permissions from the script, clear the dalvik cache and reboot.
Changed the splash image, and boot and shutdown animations.
Changed the background on the dialer.
Updated the Google Music app to the latest Google Play Music app
Added a silent.mp3 notification tone to the system/media/notifications folder
 
I stopped experiencing the data drops however data seems a lot slower.
I am watching videos in the default "videos" application.

I am going to try the new version. Great job, this is my favorite rom. I loved what you did with the intercept.

right, you made the intercept worth bearing with man, i wish i still had my triumph so i could give this a shot!
 
I flashed this rom today n I loved it but when I tried to uncap 3G using propmod app my phone got into a boot loop :/

Hmm any idea on the actual line it adds to the build prop? My Tom already has most of those tweaks already on the build.prop. If you could find out what it actually adds to the build.prop maybe I could find out what is going on. I have never used that app though!
 
You can search for it in the play store and it cost a Buck but if you read the description he actually posted it free for everyone on his website. The one in the play store is for donations
