Root [ROM] Warp 4G Stock B12 KitKat 4.4.2 Deodexed and Unmodified

Hey Super, I can't find Apollo Music Player on Google Play Store. Is that a Samsung app that you pre-installed in SuperROM and can you make available the APK? Appreciate it brother.

You can try CM app installer from Google play, it has KitKat versions of CM apps, I used it to install apollo, calculator, DSP manager and DSP libs, file manager, and cLock. Haven't had any fc with these but the DSP manager can be weird time to time depending on song played from any music play.

Note: I've tried trebuchet but it doesn't work, tried one from Google and it worked but it glitches a bit, try epic launcher if you are looking for a "better" looking kitkat Us with a combo of gravitybox kk

I do use Epic (Prime actually) and my phone looks and runs perfectly now. I asked SuperR for Apollo because it's a small program with a ton of themeing options. I don't want to trade performance or precious space loading my phone up with a bunch of apps again, I rooted my phone to take things OFF and speed things up. lol But thanks just the same

@purerawenergy - sent u a pm

Can I install the deodexed 2 over the original rom (the first version of the debloated rom) or would I need to install fresh?

What would it take within this rom/system to make it where the phone itself could be recognized by a media device i.e. home stereo, car stereo, etc.? When I plug it in to one of the 2 aforementioned, I receive a device not supported error message.

Root Instructions for full stock 4.4.2 devices

Download the
Warp 4G Unbrick tool iso
Download SuperSU.zip and put it on the sdcard of your device
(optional - only if you want to install PhilZ too) Download PhilZ_recovery.zip and put it on the sdcard of your device

Enable USB debugging on your device - go to Settings > About phone. Tap on SW version several times until it says you are a developer. Hit back to get to the main settings, choose Developer options, check USB debugging, agree to the terms.

Use your favorite burning software to burn the iso image to cd. ImgBurn for windows is nice because it is free, easy, and effective. Personally I make bootable usb flash drives instead of cd's. There is a program called Unetbootin that makes the process very easy. Once the cd is burned or the USB flash drive is created, put it in your pc and reboot. Enter into your pc bios and change the boot order making the cd drive/flash drive the first to boot. Normally to get into pc bios, you need to press one of the following: del, f2, f10, or f12. It depends on the pc but it is usually right after the pc starts and it will say on the screen which one to press.

Plug in your device to the usb port.

Open the folder marked My Documents on the desktop
Then choose ZTE_Unbrick_Tool
Right click on partitions folder
Left click on Open in Terminal
(thanks to ghost915 for posting this easier method of getting to the right folder)

Type the following in the terminal:
adb reboot bootloader
(you will need to accept something on the device at this point or it will say the device is unauthorized)

Once you are in bootloader type:
fastboot boot warplte_mmcblk0p16_recovery.img
(this will boot your device into PhilZ recovery. It will not install it, just boot to it. You will have the ability to use it as normal until you reboot)

(optional) Flash PhilZ_recovery.zip like a normal ROM on your device to install PhilZ
Flash SuperSU.zip like a normal ROM on your device. Reboot your device and enjoy root :)

Looks at things to come im working on a 4.4 based stock rom

SuperR, I have successfully flashed the deodexed rom after installing PhilZ. The only problem I had was my keypad would not initially appear until I manually chose a input method. Is this normal?

This happened to me on the first deodexed rom, but not the second. Not sure why, but it did not seem to cause any other issues.
