Root [ROM][WIP] BACKside ROM (CM7) + Green Machine Theme

mine also went back to the stock music player after installing latest build. i downloaded the google music player from the market and it just force closes as soon as i try to open it. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

I have always used the cubed music player, simply because I like the widget. ;)

However, I do like the new Music app's cloud music capabilities!

Updated from an 09 build. No issues, lovin the new lock screen! Also, discovered by reading that I can just throw one build onto another, rather then wipe everything.... and reflash.

Where did you read this, I am tired of having to redo everything after every update?

Installation

---Updating from a previous BACKside-IHO build

1) Download the newest build, and GreenMachineTheme zip if you like, and place them on your sdcard

2) Boot into recovery and make a backup (imho, not optional ;))

3) Wipe cache and dalvik cache

4) Flash the BACKside-IHO zip file

5) Flash the GreenMachineTheme (optional)

6) Flash gapps (hopefully not necessary anymore, ymmv)

7) Reboot and enjoy

Hope that helps.

Seems like everyone is jumping on the Bob's kernel wagon. XD

Yeah, from what I've been reading... looks like he's really good at it. So many thanks goes out to him, JerryScript, mrg666, Whyzor and many others that do alot of work to make our phones better. My hat's off to them all!!!

Couldn't agree more. Many thanks to all the dev's and their efforts to make the V the bomb!

So I saw Bob removed App2SD, is this the same on Backside?

Seems like everyone is jumping on the Bob's kernel wagon. XD

BACKside never had DarkTermor's A2SD built in like BobZhome's did. Just the built in Gingerbread+CM7 a2sd.

Bob has pretty much taken over the kernel side of IHO development, and we are all thankful for his responsivness and willingness to add requested functionality! ;)

I did that and my lockscreen still doesnt show up

make sure that under CyanogenMod Settings->Tablet Tweaks->Disable Lockscreen is Unchecked.

if you are wanting a pattern or password, i would go under CyanogenMod Settings->Lockscreen->Disable Lockscreen on security and make sure that its checked. Then go to your regular Settings->Location and Security->Set Up Screen Lock.

Hope that helps

Anyone having usb tethering issues? When ever I tried to turn it on, the phone "disconnected" from usb and then reconnected without tethering activating.

Maybe a stupid question, but will this phone be able to use Ice Cream Sandwich after a ROM is made?

Anyway, thanks for this great ROM! It really works well!

Could it be possible to use the stock android launcher? Or do I have to use something like ADW or LauncherPro?
