Grover 11-22

grover 11-9

grover 11-2

grover 10-17.zip

Its a more in depth version as well

BTW- I realize the themes are not changing the center clock's color, I'm working on a fix for the next build. Rather than use a hack to grab it from the normal clock's color, I'm thinking of adding a color picker to the settings menu to allow the user to choose the center clock's color at will.

Just noticed when you don't have it centered it changes color. I thought it was from flashing the audio enabler.

Benslgdroid, quick question. I flashed the zip but don't see it in theme chooser. I'm running go launcher so don't know if that's a problem or what. Any suggestions??

Clock color chooser would be cool to have. I would like to see that

Long time lurker...I just want to start by thanking everyone for all of the work they put in creating the new ROMs.

Unfortunately, I've run into my first problem since rooting in August and I've looked for an answer, but haven't found anything yet in the forums.

After installing the most recent update (10172011), I keep getting error messages when reinstalling apps, regardless of whether it is through Titanium or downloading them from the Market. Specifically, at some random point when reinstalling the apps I'll get an ""There is insufficient space on the device" error and other times it tells me that the APK is invalid and I won't be able to install anything else. I say randomly, because I've flashed and reinstalled the ROM several times now and at first I thought one of the apps was corrupted, but even when I stopped reinstalling that one it continued and now happens at different points in the reinstall process.

I've used Link2SD and even without moving all the apps at this point I still have more than 80MB of internal, so it's not that there's an actual space issue.

To address this I have tried clearing the dalvik cache and regular cache several times, reinstalled the ROM, re-downloaded and reinstalled the ROM (in the event the initial download was corrupt), downloading everything again from the Market...

Before going back to 10102011, I was wondering if anyone might know what is causing this error and how to fix it.

Thank you in advance.

@Roblax if your using link you have to do a full wipe format every time you update. It had to do with the way link works I'm not sure all the details. If you don't you get those weird reports when you try to restore apps that were previously linked.

@yogi did it work after selecting system through the theme chooser?

It has to do with partitions and where the dalvik cache is stored.

To fix your issue, use a root capable file manager like Root Explorer and remove the file /system/etc/init.d/01mvdalvik

Next, from the homescreen, press your menu key and choose manage applications. Select the all tab, scroll down to select market, clear data and cache.

Next, reboot into recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache, then reboot.

You should be able to download from the market now.

Some say you need to wipe the catch before you flash. What looks different?
Fonts and status bar. That's it. No clock widget (unless it's not included), no wallpaper. I'll try clearing the cache and reflashing. Both cache and Dalvik??

Edit: I should have said the only thing different is the status bar and fonts.

The wall paper and clock widget are not in it. It changes the status bar font notification and glowing edges, progress bars.

Just flashed with grover, i like it. Might be my new favorite. :) Jerry, i think you should include the Grover theme and The Blues theme on the links of you update post so people have the option to choose their theme directly from your post without needing to search through this thread. :)

Thanks to benslgdroid for the themes!

Thank you for the advice. I had gone through a full wipe format when reinstalling the rom, but it is good to know that using link2sdd requires this. Up until the problems, I was using app2sd and only did a full wipe format once without having any problems. I may switch back now that the problems are solved.

Thank you, this worked. In terms of understanding what I've done:

1. Is this something that has been changed in a recent update?
2. Should I do this again after future updates?
3. Is there a way of avoiding this in the future?

Sorry for all of the questions. I appreciate your help. It was driving me crazy for two days!

I can't update the themes until after the rom is released because you need system files from the most recent update to make the theme. I'll try to keep up with jerry as best as possible.

As for the rest of the screen I use launcher pro which is free in the market and for this one I used this wall paper
Starcraft2_100.jpg

Locked the wall paper so I could use the image as my dock background, set the dock background to none also locked the dock (6 icons ) set where blizzard is as my drawer and used an invisible icon.

For the other icons I used ptp's ember icons MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

for the widget its fancy home pro which was a faotd on amazon a while back.

I did this as I previously said, and the file is back again. I no longer have Link2SD installed nor do I have 2 partitions. I do have App2SD, but it doesn't use scripts. It just makes it easier to see what you have where, this is the Sam Lu version, not the dark tremor or whatever version that uses scripts.

Any idea how to keep this file from coming back again?

You two should collaborate, lol. Do you use Metamorph to help you edit your themes? I'm interested in building my own now.
