Made a halloween type theme. The only thing is the icons are backwards so what's white is what you have and what's colored you don't.

I change everything possible except window animation and lock screen because there's not enough to do there. Make sure you use the the files out of the most recent version of the rom.

You have to be quick, it gives you a second or two before it takes the shot.

Tap on Screenshot and quickly pull down the notification menu. It will grab a screenshot.

Create a shortcut on the homescreen for the Settings. Tap on Screenshot and then quickly tap on the Settings shortcut that you placed on your homescreen. It'll grab a screenshot.

Just gotta be creative.... and fast lol. ;)

Can't do that with the slide down notification menu. If you open the notification menu, as soon as you long-press the power button the menu closes. So you have to do it backwards lol.

I didn't test the Settings window before, but tested it now. It does remain open when you long-press the power button down.
 
So I was thinking about switching to the newest build when the option for moving the clock to the right is a-okay.. is it safe now? >_< Does 10.17.2011 have the option to move the clock back to default on the right side of the screen? I been chillin on 10.04.2011 for quite some time now haha (I usually flash every new build as soon as it comes out xD)

This whole paragraph is worded very oddly; please excuse this. I haven't been getting much sleep
 
An option to have the clock on the right or in the middle was added in the 10/10/2011 release, and is listed as being added in the Changes description in the original post (towards the bottom). ;)

Oh and btw, what does Jerry mean when he says "(system icons are still buggy, I'm close on it though)"? (concerning the clock)
 
Good question! I've no idea lol. I haven't flashed the latest update yet, and normally I won't unless I notice something broken with the current version I'm using or unless a neat feature is added that I think I might want.

They sill over lap at times. Not notification just system (right side)

Gears of war is just for the skull for halloween, I'm limited by what they offer till I take the time to figure it all out. I personally am not a fan of gears of war just the skull.
 
anybody else having fast battery drainage? i love the performance of the system, but my battery, which used to go the whole day no lower than 20% after much usage, is down to that with it mostly on standby. i dont have gps going or wireless. the bluetooth is on, but that never used to be a problem. any thoughts? thanks fellas.

I am also using the ice cream sandwich theme dock icons. Things i don't like about this theme is the text on my notification header doesn't match, due to uot kitchen lacking the setting? i'm pretty sure. And i'm still iffy on the Font.

Working on a theme that may or may not be pink ;) Stay tuned...

Edit: Due to colors showing up drastically different on my phone than they looked on my computer, I'm gonna have to re-do my pink theme. So...stay tuned longer, lol.
 
I was wondering, is there another way to make themes? I don't like how limited uot kitchen is... although don't get me wrong, it is pretty amazing and simple to use, but I was hoping from alot more custom icons and what not, I was hoping to create a wp7-ish theme.. and also Jerry, any pointers on customizing the status bar, such as; center wifi icon, singnal strength and 3G on left hand side, and "hiding" or removing system icons? These are things I need for my wp7 rom project :p

Do a google search on apkmanager and apktool. They are tools which will allow you to decompile the necessary apks, swap out icons, edit xml, recompile it, sign it, and flash it back to your phone. ;)

I like this theme a lot. In my opinion the font is good. It's enough of a change to actually tell it's different, but it doesn't make it hard for me to read anything.
One thing I would change is the color to a darker blue...just personal preference, but if you decide to do that I would love to know since I don't own a computer and can't theme myself. Lol I don't think you understand how grateful id be :)

Love it! Love the color, love the font, great job! I hope my pink theme turns out half as good :D
