Root [ROM][WIP]CM10.0.0.l0-BobZ

Ah, that should be fine, then. My bad for assuming, though, I thought you were just posting it for everyone here.
 
Ok, I'm not a complete noob. I've rooted and flashed roms including CM7 on my Admire and my Ascend. But alas, I keep getting an error in CWM when I try to flash CM10... Am I being a total **** and forgetting to do something?

Heres the error;

Setting Permissions
set_perm: some changes failed
E:Error in /sdcard/cm-10.0.0.10.
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.

Redownload the file.

It should be 179MB (183,353 KB)

Yes, LTE is working at first boot....but when I reboot, it loses all ril function. I have to figure out what is being trigged at first boot that makes it work and set it to happen on reboots.

Please do not host my ROM on any other server...please take down all links!
 
Ah, so that's why you said you still needed to work on it. Is it just the LTE or the data altogether that stops working upon reboot?
 
Don't know if its just me but I am having sudden freezes and then the audio driver or whatever will stop and then it will show a white rectangular bar And then I have to pull the battery out to reboot flashed over e twice to make sure also this only happens so far while I am trying to play a game any ideas

I was able to get it working with LTE, but just no data, was able to make calls, but the ICCID card was unknown, and no data

I also had the first boot issue, but I was able to toggle Airplane mode to get it going again on second boot

I'm guessing its 4G signal. But nothing is sending/receiving as far as data. Happens sometimes on stock. I usually just turn on airplane mode. Wait a few seconds then I turn it off.
 
Oh yeah I forgot to mention. The crt screen off animation is not fully working.

I thought that would have been the problem why the screen never fully shuts down when you have the lights file in you hw folder.

I noticed it when I was constantly turning on and off the screen on PG's build to figure out what was causing the screen to dim and not turn off and then not turn on at all.

With the lights file on bob's latest build the screen no longer "doesn't come back on" It just dims which can be avoided by pressing the screen off/lock button twice very quickly.

I'll edit the framework and services.jar to attempt to enabling the crt animation.
Lets see if that helps any.

Edit: Didn't work. I'm going to try a few more things before I completely give up and leave it to the pros cx

Edit: If you set your screen timeout to 15 seconds. The timeout will shut your screen off completely without the dim.
