Root [ROM][WIP]CM10.0.0.l0-BobZ

Ok, so I'm back on CM cause I can't stand the status bar and lock screen on stock:D. I flashed BobZ 5-21 and am happy with call volume, data stays connected after reboot, and even GPS works pretty decent, just a little slow. Now a couple of things that I wish I could get working are

1) Bluetooth audio - I listen to Pandora and Tune-in on my phone and would like listen to it in my truck. It connects but it doesn't play thru the radio instead it plays on the phone. I can still control it from the radio .
On PG's build BT does work. Maybe I'll back up this one and flash PG's, but I think I had low call volume on that one last time I used it.
2) Media connection to computer. It does not connect to the computer. What is missing is the MTP driver. It connects to DFS and QPST perfectly, just not as a media storage. When I'm on stock the drivers work fine.

Any help with these?

I had the same problem with USB storage, it works. You just need to know how to use it. First of all go to your setting then go down till you see storage and then press the menu button and it will say "USB computer connection" just press that and check mass storage and you're done :) connect it to your PC and check if it works :)

Installed ROM from stock, tested heavily today and here is my conclusion. All MMS and call volume people seem to have did not occur on mine. Everything but GPS and front facing camera record working flawless.

Cool, got the media storage part, now for the BT!

For those having issues with connecting to pc as mass storage, go to settings > storage and press the menu button, you then should see a small box at the bottom of the screen. don't remember off hand exactly what it says, but press it and it will give options on when you are connected via usb.

Edit: oops, didn't see Juanmendoza17's post above :)

Call volume is the only thing i dont like bout this here Rom. I cant remember what app yall was talkin bout befir but someone had mentioned theres an app that may or may not help me out with this issue. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

I've had Bobzhome 5-12-13 for like a week and it's great, but has there been a fix for the backlight issue, recording on front camera and is there any way I can replace the 1x icon with the 4g one? Also what's the difference in Bobz ROM and Pg's ROM? Other than that everything is great.

So is the call volume / echo, and GPS working properly now? How's the battery life?

I tried both PlayfulGod's 5/17 and BobZ's 5/21 builds. Volume and echo seemed fine, whereas GPS did not work at all. I tried several fixes mentioned in this thread to no avail. I highly recommend anyone who depends on GPS to stay away from CM for now - a few people have it working, and a few people are able to fix it, but the overall consensus is that there's a major irreparable problem with the GPS for a heck of a lot of people. You can of course go back to stock but it'll take a while and you have to learn your way around the unbrick guide, morningcall errors, et cetera.

Battery life seemed good for the short time I had it, though.

With all do respect, quit asking how the progress is going, OP will deliver when he can, and as for the rest of us.
We haven't found any true fixes yet, so don't ask how the progress is going or ask for any fixes, for one, if they were any you could find them on your own easily and you also sound like you might bug BobZ or PG because you're getting impatient, be happy we have a dev and be patient.

Update: My Motion died and I could not wait 5 days for Metro to get me a new one...so I bought an L9(same price as Motion). Then Metro would not replace my phone since I no longer had service on it...so I contacted LG and they finally gave me an RMA# the other day. I have to ship it out to them now and I'm not sure when I'll get it back at this point.

If you need GPS, this dude is 100% correct. I recently went back to stock version C for that very reason. If you are confused with the unbrick guide, go to sammyz unbrick thread, download the KDZ file of the firmware you want, and check out my YouTube channel for an unbrick video (http://www.youtube.com/ubeenstryked). You must download the KDZ via torrent to use the tutorial because I do not cover how to convert cab to KDZ (only took me ten minutes with uTorrent)

There is also a how to root tutorial that I just uploaded too, pretty cut and dry. The hardest part of unbrick is the hard reset you have to do once it completes, but there are steps in the description of the video, it's all about timing. Once GPS is working, I'm back on this rom the next day :) thanks for all the hard work BobZ, I enjoyed this for the month and a half I used it, and it broke my heart to uninstall, keep it up :)

How do you like the L9? Did you put out on Metro's BYOD?

What?
MetroPCS is selling the L9s.
Therefore, he bought it from Metro and it's not a BYOD device. He's a Patriot fan, so I guess he lives around Boston ;)

He has the one branded MetroPCS.

Thanks, I know that Metro sells it. I guess I was thinking what of my sister-in-law did with her L9. She bought it from Bestbuy, and put it on Simple Mobile. So, when bobz said he got one, that's the first thing that went thru my mind.

Yea, I know he has the Metro version cause he asked me for the firmware probably in case he bricked... lol.

I'm on 5/21 or 12 - whichever and when I use skype or oovoo and I answer a call, the screen just blacks out and comes back on like a reboot. Any idea how to fix?

There might be a fix I have front facing camera recording On the paranoid port. Even had Google hangout up but lost sound.
