Root [ROM][WIP]CM10.0.0.l0-BobZ

Right now I'm on the merged ROM and I still get force closes. Only on apps like Ifunny so far though.
I tried fixing permissions. And still, they force close.
Any way around this guys?
 
I flashed to E then installed following post instructions for CM10.
I'm not experiencing nearly as many reboots. I also went into recovery and fixed permissions.
I did experence the low mic volume.
Also the stock keyboard is acting up (keyboard and text freezing, but showing the text after hitting home and returning to the app [gmail, ect])
I'm overall happy with the rom, thanks again!
 
I was trying some build.prop tweaks in attempts to raise in call volume. After much reading online i was targeting the ro.config.vc_call_vol_steps. I found any adjustments on this figure will cause a no-boot situation. All the info i can find online suggests this will likely fix cm10 low call volume issue, but how to get it in there without causing problems, idk.

The following ro.config.vc_call_volume_default can be adjusted, but i think it is just the starting amount of steps in volume on first start, so no help...

Then i tried a suggested app for the fix, Volume Control+ which also didnt work, it was already maxed out.
 
no I think issues on call mic volume lies in root/etc/audio_ policy.cof. please check this @PG or Shabbily
 
I flashed this rom over version c and i get random reboots when switching from an app like poweramp to the quick settings button, but not always. And as already said before the facebook app also causes it to reboot during install but as far as i can tell it's well below 90F so i know it isn't a heat related issue. I will say it is quite quick and smooth, I love it!

Big text messages fail to send on Bob's build. Big messages as in messages over 160 characters. It supposed to split into 2 separate messages but it just doesn't send at all.

Going to try on PG's latest build.

I'm just getting a little tired of flashing, and then restoring. Especially restoring because the dates are all messed up. Too lazy to write things down. So I have to flash each and everyone of them until I get my latest backup v.v

mods: rom toolbox memory manager set to aggressive

problems:

1. Screen never truly shut off, the backlight is still on no matter what
2. random reboots when too much stuff is going on, (didn't happen before...and this was just a stress test i did by myself)
3.headphones do not work..i plug them in and no headset icon and sound plays through speaker...when unplugged sound stops.
4. random for closes, which i think is related to the random reboots as well.

5. i forgot to install a logcat program

so...that lgmodemest bakup.zip.....how does that thing work?...i restored my nandroid backup...i have a folder that is titled "modemstbak" ...well...how do i restore that?
 
Can a MOD make an official list of the problems and have them posted on the OP with bobz permission of course, that way the devs don't have to sort threw all the pages to know them.

That would be great. But that would also be a little hard since no one posted what build they were using when they listed the issues.
 
Okay guys. I took the freedom to post everyone's issues. Cause I mean, I'm no Dev. But there's gotta be something I can do to at least attempt to help. :P
Well first. Everyone knows. 4G isn't working. Sometimes Google Play force closes. Random reboots.
Brightness won't work on some.

* C: Google play force close. Random reboots. Facebook won't install. Brightness won't go down. Low call volume. Keyboard will freeze. Strange reboots with relating to Google play on the status bar. Camera only takes first picture and the rest are black. Big text messages won't send (Over 160 characters)

* D: Google play force close. Random reboots. Facebook won't install. Brightness won't go down. Low call volume. Keyboard will freeze. Big text messages won't send (Over 160 characters)

* C: Can't hear anything in calls. Camera asks for SD Card eventhough one is already inserted. Screen randomly shuts off. Android.Process.com.media has stopped errors everywhere. Data won't work even when on 3g. Mounting on computer won't work

Most of the issues are the same, and I still put the specific ones per firmware :p Feel free to let me know if I missed anything and If there is something else to add. I just wanted to give back in some way to show my appreciation for everything you guys are doing. Besides, we're doing pretty damn good for a phone with a locked bootloader ;)

so im guessing we all have to find the right firmware to flash over. we have alot of bugs on each one so we need to find the right one to flash cm10. Quick question which firmware has the least amout of bugs when flashing cm10 over and does battery make any diffrence when on cm10?
