I would say firmware E with BobZ's first build. Most of the issues there are easy to get around. Sure, the touch button lights don't work. But that isn't much of a problem really. Nothing one couldn't get used to really. I say that's the most stable version of this so far. In my opinion. Don't take it for fact.
 
If the button lights are working on my builds, its because I am using the stock lights.msm8960.so. that also might be the cause of the wake issue, but I kinda doubt it.

on bobs build, try my mms.apk in it n see if they split then over 160 char.

With any luck, with the donations received and selling my spectrum, hopefully have a motion to dev with tomorrow. ;)


And I will try to get with Bob and see if we can get the repo on the same page so the builds are the same at least at one point. Then we can both work on fixes, test, have tested, verify, then push to github. I think I have more free time than Bob (thanks to a VERY understanding wife). But I am sure we can pull it all together. But my last build was after I fresh clone of BobZhome's and then very few changes. So unless hes done local changes (to jellybean) that hes not pushed yet, our builds should be very close.
 
ok i am kinda scared. I decieded to remove the cynogenmod because it had a lot of glitches so I did a firmware restore using the F firmware. Now I keep getting a boot loop. Any ideas whats wrong?
 
Lol I know how to get into factory reset. I hold power + volume down until it vibrates and press home and back key until it comes up, but it does not come up.

Yes it seems E gives the least amount of errors....

Also I think there should be a capacitative buttons on or off option (I prefer them off tbh)
 
Maybe im just slow, but i noticed that using the factory reset on cm10, give fresh install of cm10, not original lge firmware.

Interesting how we can get the factory recovery to install fresh cm10...

I can confirm this the problem. I'm on bob's build and I copied the file to the folder. It fixes the lights, and brightness. But it causes the wake issue.
 
Hey guys. I'm can't seem to get into recovery mode to flash anything. When I go via reboot options I just get morning call security screen. Then I gotta pull my battery out to get back. Any suggestions?
 
Personally I haven't had much of a problem with CM10 with GAPPS. Maybe its because I haven't used it long enough :p. I didn't even notice that the button lights didn't turn on until I some one posted about it several days later :p. Well, BobZ has done a great job at this ROM and it only has several bugs that needs ironing out. I don't use Facebook and I installed several random apps fine off the Play Store :). I saw maybe two force closes but they were with the gallery app which we all know has been acting strange .

Is it confirmed that there are little to no random restarts or force closes when flashing from version E?

When using Bobz first version
