My problem is that after making the backup I cannot restore it with 2nd init recovery. What am I missing here? Has anyone else successfully backed up and then restored using this app?
I've had to restore one of my old b/u's that was done with 2nd init just to make sure that I could even do that. Problem now is that i can't get back to where I want to be. Another thing is that after making the first b/u with this app it changed the way my folders and b/u's were stored. It created and backed up to a new clockworkmod folder. I had to find my old cwm b/u folder to restore this one that I'm on now.
Any suggestions on how I can restore one of the b/u made with this app?

Speaking of that appProlly not unless you have updated with the Mms.apk I posted.
I was using it on BobZ's build. And it sent messages split in 2 just fine. But then when I sent a message that was 3 parts long. It would only send symbols And also, it won't let me download MMS. :/
I really appreciate your help in this though! Can't wait till you get a motion, I almost feel like once you do, this whole thing is gonna be set on fire with fixes from BobZ and yourself

Hopefully no one minds, but here are the list of bugs/errors I have experienced, coming from Software F.
Build 0420 - Red Outline on unlock/At random times? If you you lock and try to unlock it the screen will be off but you can still interact (oddly enough).
Build 0413 - Brightness won't change. Screen flickers when changing volume during a YouTube Video
Both - Facebook is unbelievably buggy
Build 0420 - Fixes Brightness but adds more problems. I recommend anyone who wants to use it daily go with 0413.
Just some constructive criticism, please don't blast me.

okay try them out when coming from E...that has been verified as the least buggy
Alright I'll try it. I really want this ROM to become stable and ready for use.
EDIT: I can't seem to be able to go from F to E. I'm getting some kind of driver error so it can't find the phone. Does anyone know what might be happening? The KDZ_FW_UPD.exe program also stops responding the moment I start the update.

Reboot computer.
If it still doesn't work use a different usb.

If i remember this happened to me, on the zip file where the updater program is, there is an lg drivers setup i had to use those in order to get the phone recognized.

Flashed from Software version E to cm10 build 0420. I've been getting a red outline quite a bit, lockscreen is very buggy, five random reboots within the past half an hour, data is not working, also i keep getting a pop up that says "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped"

Hey PG i found a apk called SIM Toolkit any idea what that's for? maybe we can get 4g on cyanogenmod with it?

I believe someone already tried this on hK's build once, I don't recall what happened but I don't think this got 4g to work..

STK is a optional build feature in CM. I doubt it will help but I can set it to build too.

The first time I used it was b4 Rhino posted about the patch. That is when it made a new CWM recovery folder in the internal memory with the new b/u in it. But when I try and go to the external SD card it can only be done by opening the Titanium b/u folder where the info on T.B/U is now mixed in with everything on the external b/u.
I didn't apply the patch till after this was created. I cannot restore from the b/u's made with Online Nandroid app. I tried with 2nd init recovery and it starts doing an MD5 checksum then suddenly goes to the Reboot System Now screen. But it doesn't restore anything just reboots the .phone

i personally havent had any issues with backing up and restoring from our own 2nd init CWM...that is how i got back to stock from CM10 anyways...

STK won't do crap...our 4G card is NOT a sim card...this has been discussed many many times

Try moving the nandroid backup to the.2nd init folder

That may be so but remember we now have so much more working things on PG and BobZ cm than we did on hk's. You never kno what could happen jus cuz it didn't work on one rom doesn't mean it won't work on another one. And PG said we're jus doing a trial and error thing.
