I have not experienced any reboots yet.
Seems as though they are fixed.
CM wallpapers fixed
Normal wallpapers fixed.
Mms splits.

Edit:Bug: Don't run sound recorder. When you hit play after recording. No sound and it makes your phone lag EXTRA hard until it just freezes.
 
I just want to say that I've been paying close attention to this thread since its beginning and I'm quite amazed with the progress that's been made. I just haven't had a chance to say so because of work, same thing with giving any of this a whirl. It's not something I'd take a chance with just yet when I use my phone a lot (mainly to arrange rides, but still, it's quite important to have a functioning phone).

TheDemon, does the Dialer app work fine in the most current build? It seems like you've been doing quite a bit of fiddling with CM10 here, if not the most.

The dialer always worked for me but it always had an annoying sound delay. Its fixed on bobs latest build it seems.

Just found another bug. Play store doesn't download apps.

I think there's a fix somewhere. I'll google.

Edit: Yeah thought so. Force close Google Services Framework, clear data, reboot.

relevant edit: Despite what I just said, I might revert to version E and give the most recent build a go. I miss testing stuff.

Very promising. I'm still looking for bugs but it seems like everything is working.
Well you know besides the 4g, brightness, hard key lights.

But brightness can be fixed with rootdim.

I can live without 4G for the time being, and I barely notice the key lights anyway. I kinda forget that they're there.

Yeah I didn't even notice they weren't working when I flashed the first build until someone said something cx
 
I will be trying out 4-22 build on Firmware F. Camera is kind of messed up in 4-13 build but i haven't tested 4-22. (Messed up as in pictures are 0x0 and grey.)
EDIT: THANK YOU "TheDemon" brightness was the only thing that was ruining this ROM for me! :D
 
hey guyz, this is more than likely not related. on the Gs2(sprint variant). There was a echo issue as well, it was kernel related. i hope this helps...
 
I love how this thread is still very alive and I think it's great people try to help on somewhat obscure phone models (Compared to say,the S3 , which probably has like thousands of people helping develop).
 
yea he wasn't sure if it was avaliable or not on yur phones. Ive googled alot it appears that its not a feature.

I thought i may have seen the hardware
There is quite a few things on our phone that were not enabled by metro

it most likely missing something needed for it to fully work, core hw may be there tho. ;)

Yeah of course somethings missing .lol
They wouldnt make it easy
But. I did find a lib that comes on the phone that llooks like its needed for nfc
Googled the file
Of course it led me to github
It is for nfc
Not that i know what to do with this info yet
But had to start investigating


Its probably like our fm transciever just have to find whats missing

Just another project for the kid when he goes on summer vacation
