If your phone isn't going into landscape, I found out that ADW launcher may be the problem. I downloaded golauncher, installed that, deleted ADW, and it works perfectly. Also, CWM 3005 will work with cm6 041stable last build. 042 isn't ready enough yet, will install when it's more stable.

What is unstable about build 04212011? You do know these are dates?

I went back to cm7, cm6 kinda unstable and I was having alot of problems with the launcher pro build. I can live without the camcorder for a bit. Maybe it was just me but I re-flashed several times and even restored. No signal, landscape mode kept getting weird on me. Maybe it did somthing wrong will retry at a later time.

There are steps to make the landscape mode work. The low signal is just a little bug, it shows you have low signal but you can still send texts and call. It's not the true signal.

its the carrier, not the rom, cause inside the house i get around 2 to 3 bars, but when outside i get all bars, so it just depends on the area your in.

umm those are dates the builds were done/released. Each build is better than the last, so u must have just had a bad flash or sumtin lol.

u can try 2 things
one boot into recovery/advanced/ fix permissions.
if that doesnt fix it start all over n be sure to wipe data/factory rest, wipe cache, advanced wipe davlic cache.

is anyone else having trouble getting apps on the phone i can get some apps on my old phone and not my new phone the only difference is my new phone has cm6 an ideas?4

okay I did this 5 times I even tried with rom manager it never worked. Could it be the adw launcher? I did flash cm7 with no problem. Well one boot loop and one forceclose on setup. Is this getting stuck at this screen a known problem?

u my friend has a lazy ascend. Its not liking the overclocking.
So in other words I should throw this phone at a wall? Or is there a way to fix this (over clock worked on cm7...)

CM7 is oc'd at 600Mhz default but u can push it up to 710Mhz if it handles it. My ascend installs either just fine.

I used a large rock. It worked perfectly.
After i installed CM6 and booted it up, i was finally thrilled to see it worked. But, unfortunately, i cannot receive texts. It kept telling me something like "text was rejected because message inbox memory is full. Please delete old messages." However, I had noooo messages. But i could send them and my friends would get them with no problem. Also, everytime i called, the call was lost, but when someone called me, it worked perfectly. Can someone please help me with this? Had to flash back to stock. Me no likey stock.
*Note* when wiping all that stuff in recovery mode, formatting the data did not work. So i just did everything else but that. (Format boot, etc.) I then went ahead and installed cm6 without formatting the data. Could that have been a problem? And if so, how can i fix it? Please help.

I just might have to do this. My friend has 300 pound rocks in his yard tha3t will do... I'm going to try a different file if it doesn't work large rocks here I come lol
So I finally have cm6 on my phone and everything is good except one thing. I don't see the files and directories like I did when it was stocked and rooted. I get super user permission granted but still don't see the files and directories. So I was tried to move a bootanimation and sound file to system in file manager but it won't let me do it. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Sounds like it is your clockwork recovery. The latest one does work for this mod. If I am right once installed you should be able to wipe and install.
