Root [ROM][WIP] CM6-Ascend (CyanogenMod 6) Current: 04212011 (Cricket/MetroPCS MMS WORKING!)

I want to go from icarus 1.1 to cm6 and have two questions. does the video camera work? icarus moved all apps to my sd card when i flash cm6 will all my apps still be there or do i have to redoown load them? thanks
 
Where would I find the drivers for cm6, in the zip for the wifi? System? When I turn on wifi, the icon does not come on at all in the status bar. 3g is working, fixed that prob, but somehow, I lost wifi! Do I have to wipe, and reinstall cm6? Titanium backup shows wifi settings, did restore, but no go.
 
I tried to use flash for 21, that messed up my browsers, but not my internet apps, uninstalled that, ( deleted everything associated with that), but the wifi was working before. Browsers work now, I think removing that zip did something. Lesson learned, that zip isn't good for cm6.

recommend you to use titu from market and do a backup in batch, all system app+data and you can simply restore them after you flash to cm6...and you will have to move your apps back to sd, some will go automatic but double check and make for sure they are moved...dont move any themes to sdcard cause they will not work.

Well that was rather convenient. The only new app i have been trying is Masqed Crusader, it is suppose to make the browser faster. There is a trial and paid version. It doesn't hurt to try i guess.
 
Got everything working smooth as butter now, wifi, browsers, SD moving, wish I could get real flash on it, but can get around that with skyfire. I like ADWLauncher, but GOlauncher is so much fun, is there a penalty to pay for deleting ADW? Will that mess up cm6?
 
Thanks to all the people that put this together, especially Isaac, and. PiP. Time to leave Modding for awhile, time to enjoy it!
