there are three kernels out(4 if you count poonsense, but you need kernel manager for it) chop suey, goldenmonkey and freedom kernels. i would try the freedom kernels first. start with the agressive freedom then move on down the line. give it a few days on the kernel to let it settle in before moving.
if you get any fc's try and wipe dalvik cache and cache. if that does not work then you can try:
1.in clockwork mod you under advanced select fix permissions
2.in amon ra under other select fix uid mismatches.

not sure on that one. i never use it and thus never tried poonsense. try the free one first.

I'm running into two errors when I use this rom that I have so far ran into one is that fact I cannot access 4g at all there are no menu options that I have been able to find that will allow you to turn it on. And second I had to boot to the stock rom to update my profile and prl on account I was switching phones around this might not be normal usage, but it was kind of a pain to go through all of that just to update both of those. Now I have tried looking around to find this information, but I was unable to so sorry if it's already been asked.

It is always important to read the original post in the linked thread before installing a ROM. 4G is not supported in any of the 3.5 ROMS at this time.
Because sense 3.5 isnt coming from a sprint phone its going to take extra work to get 4g and pri updates ect working.

on this rom, anyway,
under menu / settings, do you have , under wireless and networks, a listing entitled, "portable wi-fi hotspot settings?
In there, under security, you can select none, wep, etc. and it shows you the password underneath that when you click on, show password.

do you know which format of security it is set up with, wep, etc? I can look at what they have on this rom but no guarantee it is same on yours.
also, if you can get to market, what about just dl'ing the wireless tether app there?

Yep I've dobe the wipes and I cant open hot spot setting were security is at so I have no idea um running fusion
new fearmede is up. and it has a working quick launch!!!!!!!!!!

I am currently running the last version, any idea if this new one needs a clean install or can it be flashed over the old one?
well i always recommend a clean flash of the rom. but if you want you could just make a nandroid backup and then wipe dalvik cache and cache and then flash the rom and see if you can get it to work. if you do, please post that you can do it. i did not see anything about having to do a full wipe on the op for this rom.

your welcome. the fearmede rc1 is pretty sweet. i have not tried the hybrid rom yet.
