Root root cricket zte grand x max

I suspect sitting on this phone would shatter both front and back as they are both glass, and I'm only 160 lbs!!! Lol
Ahh, I have a zmax and the back is plastic. I guess that, and the better camera are why the XMax+ is more expensive. Anyway I won't be keeping big phones in my back pocket anymore. From now on nothing with a screen larger than 4.5" will be going in my back pocket lol. BTW I've finished with the stock rom and I'm just waiting for Android File Host to add the XMax+ to their device list so that I have somewhere to upload it to. Once it is done I will need someone to test it for me.
I have to keep my zmax stock until I get it replaced cause I never know when it will crap out on me permanently.

My build. prop has been altered extensively with xblast and I never backed it up first like a noob. I'm sure someone has a clean one. By the way, thanks again for all your help.

best thing about exposed module all you have to do is disable xblast and you are back to normal

Can someone send me the build.prop file for the XMax+? It needs to be unaltered.
well i Been having bad luck latley I bought a phone off ebay said it was a a z987 and it was not so i found one on craigslist and phone was a 787 grand x max but had to replace screen to find this out. z987 screen works for the z787 anyways I can give you stock z787 un altered build.prop if that would work

Lol, the clips do suck. Looks like your getting a otterbox or seidio next phone. You can always go back to 4.5 inch screens or smaller. Lol, I can't go small anymore. Feels weird!

So how's everything going Masterchief87?
Just had to get a warranty replacement and my new phone can't be rooted with kingroot app because it has a newer firmware version. I have tried about 100 times with no results. Until I can get my PC out of pawn there is no way I can root my phone or finish making the stock ROM I've been working on.

Have you tried to use the KingRoot Windows app? It can try over and over for you without you having to do anything and is the way that I rooted my GrandX Max+. Don't know if it makes a difference, but might be worth a try...

ok im a noob, this was my first time ever rooting a phone, i got the phone rooted twrp installed su installed was using xposed framework was able to gain temporary rw access and dump the bloatware then decided to flash a custom rom that was for the zmax cause someone else had done it and said it was 99% compatable. Now to where i really messed up during the advanced wipe i acidently deleted the internal storage...there goes my nandroid backup...i was able to flash blisspop onto the phone and it works minus the camera and a few other things media related ie. netflix etc...and it is a bit glitchy...does anyone have a zip of the stock rom pre or post root that i can flash? any help or suggestions would be greatly apriciated and not in vain. you can email directly @williamrittenberry@gmail.com. thank u to all of you who are more tech savay then myself and all the work u do for us idiots who do dumb stuff by not taking their time.

I can upload a stock rom later this weekend. It isn't perfect cause it still has some kingroot binaries that I haven't been able to get rid of just yet. Because of this it isn't 100% stock so its not good enough for a warranty exchange but it will do until I can get my computer back and get rid of those pesky kingroot files.

I had to use Linux to deodex my phone. I just went to root explorer copied all the files and pasted a set to to my SD card moved them to my computer and used someone script I can't remember which script I used though. You can't change anything anyways you might as well use xblast In xposed modules
