If anyone wants to try an experimental twrp flashable version of the 5.1 update here is a link. I modified the script so it can be flashed through twrp and i removed everything from the zip that twrp wouldnt be able to restore so if it doesn't work you can just restore a nandroid. I have no way to test it myself so it may or may not work. Make a backup first. If you want to try it out make a backup then do an advanced wipe of system, data, and cache then flash the ROM. Please let me know if it works. My test phone is soft bricked right now or I'd try it myself.

Do you think I can flash SuperSU with this update to have root

Smooth and quick. Haven't worked with it for long, but so far, I'm impressed. Flash it but be patient because it will take a while to finish and it doesn't really tell you what's going on. So just Wait until it boots to the setup screen

Now that I know it worked I'll try to add SuperSU to the zip along with some feedback to let the person who is flashing it what is going on.

How long would you say it took to finish flashing?

What I'm wanting to know is how long it took just to flash(the time from when you swiped to install, until twrp said "script succeeded") I need to know this so I can add the progress bar. Could you flash it again and time it for me? Hope I'm not asking too much. I normally do all this myself but my zmax which was my test device is currently soft bricked because I tried to unlock the bootloader(I know it was really stupid because that was way above my "pay grade") and now my bootloader is corrupted and the phone won't boot at all. Right now I'm stuck using my unrootable backup phone. Ugh!

No problem, give me an hour and I'll get back
OK thanks. BTW I just need to know how long it takes to flash so all you need to wipe is system. After reflashing it shouldn't take any longer than normal to boot since you don't need to wipe data or cache this time. I'm making a new thread for my rw zips now.
Edit: Can you also tell me exactly what android version the new update is? It is 5.1.1 right?

OK Masterchief87, from flash swipe to successful message was exactly 03:37.0 min. Timed it with stop watch. And yes, 5.1 Lollipop using the Link you provided for me. Hope that helps
