This guy Febby is all over this subject. He is in with sextape, sextape provides the leaks that a lot of the custom ICS roms and kernels are based off of. You should be good with FEBBY's thread. FI22 is the modem/kernel base and updates for the ICS OS. All the different ICS updates carry FH29 FI25 FH31 FI27. theyre updates to the ICS Operating system. Once rooted you can jump to Jelly bean, GingerBread doesnt matter. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33070871&postcount=4 Hope this helpsCan anybody please confirm that they have successfully rooted an FI22 Samsung Galaxy S2 using this method and has NO ISSUES, whatsoever.

Thanks for your reply. I only have 2 ports on my laptop and I've tried them both. I don't think my PC is recognizing my device fully. Everytime i plug it in it says installing device drivers even though I had manually installed them from the samsung site already, and it also fails sometimes when "installing" I clicked hte bubble pop up to see which was and wasn't installing, I've gotten close to a full install but one thing always seems to fail out of the about 6 things listed.
have you installed kies?
