Root [ROOT][RECOVERY]{Touch/Non-Touch} Optimus F7 FX1

Another problem came up. Went to open 2nd init recovery and it says parse error. Also my play store stopped working
I have tried wipeing the cache for play store and frameworks, also have tried rebooting, turning airplane mode on and off. Nothing that i have tried seems to work.

Were you running software version ZV5 before attempting this rooting method?

You have to be on version ZV5 before you attempt this rooting method. Try updating your phone.

This is what my phones displays. Also says there is no update for my phone

Go to Settings>Apps>All and find the Android System, Google Play services, Google Play Store and Google Services Framework apps and tell me the version number of the apps.

Hmm.. There's a slight chance there's a data space issue.. So try deleting unneeded apps & data.. Then Force stop, Clear cache and Clear data in that order for Android System, Google Play services, Google Play Store and Google Services Framework in Settings>Apps>ALL

Then reboot the phone & setup your phone to use your gmail account etc. then try the rooting process from scratch.

Have you tried making sure Unknown Sources and USB Debugging are activated?

Got it to install. Now when i go to extract the file which do i want to extract and how do i flash

You don't extract the files. You save the .zip & re-read the OP to learn how to flash the file.

Well, you install the lte2_vu2_jbrecovery.apk first then open LTE2/Vu2 Recovery(JB) and hit Recovery apply! then hit REBOOT and that should take you straight to the screen you install the recovery.
