Yeah me neither. And the IRC people of the world are a bit short. Got a thorough bashing with that copy and paste business eh (posting your error message)?
Well, the stock rom is what you have from sprint. I actually mis-spoke with stock rooted. You have s-on and are not rooted. Sorry. Just wanted to make sure this thing hadn't bricked ya. Your phone is still working?
I think it's some type of flash memory. Not sure what it does exactly, probably something fairly low-level..?Ya, phone still works thankfully. What is a NAND anyway?
already tried to redo ra and it gives me an error when i try to do that. I think I have a fancy paper weight till I can hit the sprint store
Did you try to re-download the amon ra file? check the md5 sum to make sure the file is whole.already tried to redo ra and it gives me an error when i try to do that. I think I have a fancy paper weight till I can hit the sprint store

haven't seen you in a while beastinbolts. I thought you were already rooted, no?Well ocean looks liked you seriously have your hands full..lol I am rooting tomorrow I am guessing after all these posts you have edited the op. I might have to ask you what the root of your sd card means (lol). But besides that any quorks been ironed out sense the edited O.P.. Much thanks to you.. and by the way your doing an awesome job as a guide

i load my nandroid backups but it still just restarts to bootloader then back to ra. ive downloaded ra from 2 diff places it gives me an error saying cant open
9to5 is right a nand is what allows you to write onto the system partitions. without nand unlocked you cant flash a rom. s-off is for securities. this just assigns who have access to the system partitions. it does not allow you to write to it. most temp root that you here just turns the securities off only allowing you to run root required apps like titanium backup. i hope that makes sense.
Hate to say it, but that's what it's looking like. Especially how the IRC folks seem to know about this issue saying that they were working on it (or something to that effect). Thanks, all I really want to do is run Barnacle to use as a wifi, but I'm still S-on and can't seem to get to S-off using Revolutionary because of the error I mentioned. So am I SOL on this one?

Ocn, marcisawesome is having issues with both clockwork recovery and amon ra, said they kept getting bootloops, and now can't flash roms. Don't know if they made a nandroid or not yet,
ok lets try this backup your sd card on your computer. on your phone reformat it. it will erase everything. next lets do a factory reset on your phone. then lets try revolutionary again.

sorry worded that wrong sleepy. When I redo ra nothing changes it just goes back to updating the bootloader
Ahhh that sticks. Too bad. But the wait is over, and I'm sure you appreciate root a lot more that I do, seeing how you had to give it up for a bit.I was but had to get a new evo.. Camera crapped out on me. And the new phone came with 2.3.3. Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr my how I have been waiting got this exploit
That's the spirit!
I actually have a spare SD card (unused) at my office from another EVO (someone replaced their phone and kept their old card) so rather than reformat mine maybe I can just pop that one in tomorrow, factory reset my phone and give it another go?
