ill look closer next time, i never assumed it wasnt a corporate store as they have tech support there, the payment kiosks etc, and is identical to the giant corporate store across the street, down to the layout, except 1/3 the size  ill check next time im there

Having just passed thru training for my company I can tell you our philosophy is to NEVER send a customer to a corporate store. We handle everything from billing to tech support to bill payments. We try very hard to emulate what a corp. store can do for the customer. Not that we think corporate stores are the devil, just want to make sure we are doing everything we can, and you don't want to pass up possible sale for you or the company.

interesting info, in that case ill pay attention in the future to see

I can attest to that, I've had really crappy luck with corporate stores, I need to try an indirect store if I have any more issues.

Man what a turnout  I've been slaving in the oven for you guys.
Here ya go grab one and enjoy:D

BTW, I think we all agree that the chocolate chip cookie is the standard by which all other cookies are judged. Having said that, is anyone's favorite cookie not chocolate chip?

Warm chocolate chip is probably my favorite, but very close behind it is pumpkin cookies with raisins and frosting glaze on top.

Oh man... I have everything to make Toll House cookies just sitting in my cupboard waiting. I think you may have convinced me to get off my butt and make a batch.

Hrm. I have to make bread today, too... I wonder if I really feel like cleaning my mixer twice?

Great, I just smudged my screen trying to grab one of the chocolate chip cookies from your picture...thanks alot...jerk! :p

As for your question...sugar cookies w/frosting are tough to beat, although I do love hot from the oven chocolate chip. Although my wife does one even better, she essentially takes said chocolate chips and puts them into a "grinder" (or whatever it's called) and smashes the chips into tiny bits, it's SO good! Every bite has a perfect dispersion of chocolate chips!

Bah. I'm feeling slow today.

Lazy!!! :D

Yes, that's me.

I actually went in to go start the bread, and I'm nearly out of flour. Since today isn't a day I'm going to go to the store, no bread or cookies today. Tomorrow, I'll give it a shot.

Oooo, now there's a good idea. Although think I'd still throw in more whole chocolate chips after that - the more the better!

I know! He is the coolest bird ever. Reminds me so much of the one I lost in the fire.
Oh man.. I'm sorry. My birdies were my babies, I would have been devastated. I can't have birds now, my husband came with three cats included. Good thing I like cats. ;)

Yeah is it even possible to have too many chips in a cookie? For me that's like asking if you can put too much pepperoni on a pizza...uh...no.

I think the only cookie I dont devour is shortbread. Anything else is gone on site. I eat cookies like Sharks eat people, bite and swallow, forget chewing. Ok thats not exactly true but I think we all get the gist of it.

Some of the animals from petsmart would like to say hi :)

See, personally I think you can oversaturate the cookie with chocolate chip goodness, it needs juuuuuuust the right amount!

Oh sad! :(

Ahh, that explains it!

Nerve damage = whole cookie lodged in windpipe for too long! :p

Meh life goes on. Dwelling in the past only makes it that much harder to keep moving towards the future. shit happens and the best thing to do is learn from it and see the up side to things. That's my philosophy atleast.
