I don't do can chili anymore, not since I figured out how to make it on my own. Much better that way. :D

I'll have to give it a try. Sonic in our area doesn't have it, so I'll have to make a batch next time I make chili.

You did canned chili before

So we did in fact get snowfall today here. It eventually turned to rain in the city. The outlying hills and mountains are definitely white now. Mmmm, chili sounds good now that its 34

Question of the Day: How do you order your Steak? Rare, Medium or Well-Done?

Myself, the older I get the more rare I seem to like it. As a kid I liked well done, these days Im either Medium or Medium Rare depending on the joint

Way to ruin a steak raptor. I usually order mediumm rare. Bit if the place really knows what they are doing, ill order it pittsburg rare.

Medium to medium-rare, depending how how thick the type of steak is. As I tell my family, if it's not sitting in a puddle of blood, it's too done. *major carnivore* Even better with a side of seasoned steak fries.

Oh yeah absolutely. I'm also curious to see how these cars run. I have yet to drive a Turbo charged vehicle so I'm very curious to see how these things drive. My choice car would be a late 90's eclipse gsx(Turbo plus awd) by finding one with good mileage and basically stock will be VERY difficult. But in anycase no matter what I get, I will be learning how to tune and work on it,something I've always wanted to do but never felt like doing it (part no tools, part scared of breaking something). I'm getting shivers because I'm so excited ha ha.

Yeah the trouble with turbo charged cars used is that it's hard to find them stock, especially if they're a bit older. I expect I will be tuning/doing other work when I actually get one someday haha. I've never actually driven a TC'ed car either, but I'm sure they're a blast to drive :D.

Oh, and medium rare. 'tis most definitely the best :)

my buddy had an eagle talon in high school, it was a lot of fun to drive for sure. personally i love the vtec engine in my si. once you hit like 5000 rpms it feels like the car triples in hp and is insane. :D

Medium rare... I don't like to eat it RAW, but if you just warm it up a bit, I'm good.

It snowed all around us yesterday, I think they got up to a foot in the mountains, but all we got was rain. It's chilly this morning, too; it got down to 25 last night. Brrr.

I really don't mind Honda or the civic all that much. Its just that so many jackasses and car enthusiast wannabes run their mouth and, from my experiance, the majority of them run civics. Civics that look better and run better if they were on fire. I'm sorry but no matter how loud your fart can is, or how many Nos stickers you have, it will not make your car faster or better. And I'm not singling out civics as the number one culprite of this, it just tends to be the majority. And as such...I do not want a civic. That's a dumb way to see things but the Honda civic is ruined for me.

I think I take it medium(I think, I just make my husband order it), but I've only just started eating red meat within the past year two years and very rarely at that .

Yeah our was morning snow but nothing stuck in town and once we hit mid 30's it was raining in the afternoon/evening. The ski hill 10 miles from here got 8 inches though which is good for them

i hear ya. i dont mod my car at all. just wanted a car i could drive off the lot that was quick, easy on gas, and looked good and didnt cost an arm and a leg.

personally the tuning crowd disgusts me (car tuning that is)

Not at all, I have always enjoyed chicken but red meat has always made me feel sick, Now I eat steak just fine Burgers still make me feel sick unless they're done really well and not thick, and beef ribs are just nasty.

Through gritted teeth
and thank you for remembering.

Oh I adore the tuning scene. But the real tuning. Not that BS street racing shit like in the fast and the furious moves(egenthough I generally liked those movies). All it is is a bunch of immature jackasses trying to show how tough they are when I think they arejust compensating for something else.

I once heard someone describe how they like their steak cooked like this:

"Walk the cow under a heat lamp...serve".

Chili - I like mine over shredded iceberg lettuce. It has to be iceberg. And topped with sour cream, some raw onion and cheese.
