Damn no one is working today: why the hell am I here? I also had one of my trainees/clients cancel on me at my gym, ugh. Maybe she was shopping....and got me a nice present

OK so after a long bit of waiting I finally got my check from the insurance company for my computer that was damaged in the fire...so I splurged a little and got something a little better. I'm not super techish but my father is so he helped me build this laptop...tell me if these specs seem pretty good.

nice! id love a core i7...my wifes laptop has i5 and its so much faster than my (now) antiquated hp desktop thats a year old

Nice specs especially for a laptop, very high end. As nitsuj17 said and I can confirm the i7 is so so sweet. Thats a really boss lookin laptop you hooked yourself up with
 
Ha ha thank you. Its my replacement alienware. I'm pretty stoked about it!

I've been super busy with work and the girlfriend and such. Over had very little time to even myself.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to pop in to let you know I'm still alive. The sickness is ravaging its way through our house over the holiday weekend... I haven't got it (yet), but hubby has been down sick most of the weekend, and going out at 4am on black friday didn't help him. I'm just waiting for my turn. :D

Yeah tis the season. My gf and 2 kids all got something this week [vomitting, diarrhea, the works] I havent caught it yet, but woke up this morning feeling not too well, I think I need to just lay on the couch under a blanket and watch football all day to cure me:)
 
OK so when is froyo or atleast that new update supposed to come and fix this damn GPS? For me, that is the ONE thing holding this phone from near perfection.

theres no real dates for the otas....nxt has said that testing on DJ05 ends today and the ota could happen after that anytime....but there are of course rumours that it may not go out...and the gps fix will get rolled into froyo in a month or two.
 
Forget Froyo, they're so late if they don't deliver Gingerbread and an appology letter at the same time I'll be outraged.

well on a less happy note I feel worse than yesterday I cannot believe Im actually out amongst the living right now, I might leave early however so as not to infect anyone else, even though what I have is not contagious, I just wanna feel better :(

Oh also, winter storm warning tonight, looks like 4-8" of snow in the next 24-36 hours for us
 
Hrm, it's still in the mid-50's here and is going back up to the 60's by week's end. Sorry you feel stuffy, maybe Kaessa will use her mad cooking skills to whip you up some digital chicken noodle soup for the Phandroid soul.
