I am trying to create a group and when I add a member there are no contacts. My contacts have a g(google) next to it not the p(phone) and I think that has created the problem, any help!

Yeah that is exactly the problem, they have to have a P[Phone] its a flaw in the system and one which they didnt address in DJ05 either, you cannot group G[Google] only contacts, they must have a P[Phone]

No cooking for me, I'm just hoping not to wind up in the hospital with this one. Already made my first trip to the doc, got a load of antibiotics and orders to REST AND HYDRATE OMG.
The guys are going to do all my housework for me. I am going to computer and rest for the next few days. I need to put IRC on my laptop and go get into bed, I think.

Question, I already know the answer but I want assurance that I am correct, the Fascinate will NOT work on the LTE network (when available), correct? Also, when LTE is up and running is there going to be an extra charge?

Yes our phone is not a LTE phone, no extra charge for running a 3G phone once LTE launches. Keep in mind its not going nationwide just yet. Selected major metro areas only. Im not getting it probably till next summer/fall likely

Yeah most of us won't see lte for awhile....although I have upgrades in January and July I may hold off until late spring to see what is new then....I think fascinate Dev will be going on for awhile.....hopefully adryn is able to get into it too when his semester ends....he does amazing stuff (or did) for the droid and incredible and we just got drod2159 recently

My upgrade isnt till September so that should work out just about right for me. By then, I should have LTE coverage and then we should also be further down the road with respect to things like tegra3 and actually having sdxc cards too. No sense for me to upgrade to another 3G phone between now and then anyway.
Between ex-X and ex-D1 dev's we're getting some nice additions to the empire

Im a 10+ easy.
When I have pasta I pour so much grated parm and romano on there I sometimes cant see the pasta and sauce under the blanket of cheese snow.
Any sandwich or burger I make always has at least 3 slices.
Just made some grilled cheese sandwiches, 4 slices per, the cheese was almost as thick as the bread.
My homemade mac and cheese is 1lb mac and 2lb cheese.
Favorite is a tie between pepper jack and extra sharp cheddar.
Mmmmm, cheese.
I probably like cheese even more than cookies or better yet more than Moonfire likes cookies.
My favorite personal cheese story: Over ten years ago, they told me given my high cholesterol I'd have to make some dietary changes or go on Lipitor. I asked what changes? Doc said, more grains and fiber, I said fine. He said less red meat, more fish, I said hmmmm. Doc said, less eggs and cheese,....I said I'll take the Lipitor

I'm thinking that VZW may do a special when LTE rolls out, similar to what Apple does with the iPhone. For instance, maybe giving us the option to upgrade to an LTE device at a discounted price, if not the full 2 year renewal price. I don't know that I would call it likely, but it's not out of the realm of possibility, especially if they are going to drop a $10/mo charge similar to what Sprint is doing with the EVO.
nitsuj17... I took the plunge to DJ05, with the 11/29 nonvoodoo kernel and the clean rom linked in IRC. I missed the stock calculator, desk dock and I couldn't get any VVM app to work. Is there an appropriate thread I could "bug" you in?

Yeah the announcement of mid 2011 phones was surprising and disappointing for many Im sure. I was not actually expecting LTE service till then anyway so thats fine for me. Like yourself I see myself on the SF till I can actually get both a LTE phone and LTE service which for my looks to be Q3 of 2011. I think you know your way well enough around odin and all right? Maybe sure you do the modem tar in odin [pda] and then just grab the rom. Note that the linked version of v7 is awfully streamlined and you might lose some apps. Im fine with it but you might not be.
Sadly, like nitsuj17 I also dont have the full deodexed dj05 but someone in fascinate channel surely has the link, maybe look for chopperthedog if he's in there he's the king of links

For those of you familiar with Seasonal Affective Disorder I have it and Im sinking into right now . Plus I think Im just getting depressed. Its everything from 730AM sunrise to 4pm sunset, the cold, and today I was told 2 of my 6 clients are both taking some time off for the holidays. Its understandable of course, but that was my one nice source of extra cash, especially this time of year. Oh well. Another month and things should turn. We all know how many people make that new years resolution to get in shape and stuff.
Anyway, as I get older it seems to be hitting me harder the last few years for some reason. Honestly, if I didnt have clients I would not even go to the gym right now. Its pretty much work and home, kids and sleep [more maybe more accurately here and irc]. But the point is the same.
Meh, look at me now, normally Id be at the gym tonight and now Im here. Dont anybody take that the wrong way of course I love the peeps in here and all.
The first 15 years I was up here I didnt really miss Hawaiian winters, maybe because I used to go back home every year or two but now its been 4 years.
OK, carry on, with happier topics now

cheer up saps! yeah "sad" usually hits me in like mid January or so every year and i get a bit down and lazy...I love the holidays though but yeah from like mid january to late february (unless we have a lot of snow to cheer me up) every day kinda runs into one another and i have like no energy....my wife does her best to get me out of it at home and forces me to do stuff, but at work i get like very little work done and just stare at the clock in my freezing office (or heat is crap)

Hi All, Just joined. I just picked up my Fascinate and am loving it. I upgraded from my old N95. I have been bouncing around looking at reviews/vids ect... looking for cool apps and wallpapers to use. I was wondering if you guys might be able to point me in the right direction. I know it's subjective and am looking forward to seeing whats out there. Thanks

Welcome! No idea what an N95 is, so I'm gonna go with a brick that you wrote messages on and threw through your friends' windows, Ernest T. Bass style. Far as apps go, you could start in our name your top 10 apps thread over in the Fascinate forums. There's also an entire forum section dedicated to apps, and another just for games, plenty to browse through on there.
For wallpapers, I'd suggest starting at the Post your Screenshots and Wallpapers thread in the Fascinate forums, then branching out into the Theme forum section. Granted you may not be ready to do a whole theme yet, but it still has a nice collection of wallpapers. Plus you could just go to normal wallpaper sites, the phone'll ask you what section you want to display. Keep in mind if you're looking at live wallpapers that they're a major battery-drainer.

High dose vitamin D and lots of full spectrum lighting. My doc has me on mega doses of vitamin D right now because my blood tests came back reaaaallly low.
