Sorry to hear that!

I have no idea why people keep getting sick though...hmmm...maybe the 30 deg high temperature one day followed by the next day being 55 deg, only to then repeat the cycle again has something to do with it :D

Hell...there's a thunder storm going on right now and just a few days ago we had a decent snow storm...

Yikes :eek::( sorry to hear that. Here's what I've noticed. Since whatever is going around this year its lasting a lot longer in a lot of people. I cannot remember the last time I was sick for more than 2 days in a row. I would say Im 70% now myself. Ridiculous that its taking this long to shake it.

Speaking of weather, we had next to no snow in February and now we're getting precip from today thru Thursday though it might be rain if its warm enough. Odd indeed.

Remember the better days when we werent all sick. This is borderline ridiculous. Im over a week now and not 100%. I trained at my gym today for the 1st time in almost 2 weeks and man I was weak and tired. Not impressive or happy.
Im also kinda on a forum hiatus I guess but Im sure once kernel source drops all be back into a heavier posting phase again

yeah im finally back to like 75% or so after a miserable 4 days of just sitting in bed on my laptop....i mostly just passed the time working on aosp themes lol

i just, for whatever reason, lack the motivation to post as much in the fascinate section this days...could be that im not using all the various new superclean/eb16 stuff so i cant really contribute much feedback there, or just am kinda burnt out from repeating the same advice, or arguing the same things over and over...idk :o

i find myself mostly posting (when i do) in xda these days just because thats where more theme feedback is i suppose...but honestly i just hang out in the irc theme room most of the time....although im sure at some point ill be back in the 50 post per day range...we ll see

Havent even been in irc in 2 weeks now. The sickness is part of it. Also the new version of RoboDefense is killer awesome and I find myself playing it a lot where I maybe used to post here :p
 
Thanks saps. Jeez, I hope you guys feel better. It seems that a lot of people are getting sick and having trouble getting rid of it lately. I have to get back into irc, now that I have a new computer that I can leave on overnight without worries of it overheating :)

On a different subject, who is getting the iPad 2 that was just announced today? Eh? Any takers? ;)
 
Also on a different subject, check out Google Body which just went live today. (short blurb here) It's also an app for devices running Honeycomb, which is cool if you're getting the Xoom I suppose. If you're into studying anatomy, it's pretty cool (I know how many different wrong ways this can be taken, but so be it). Wish they had something like this when I was taking Gross Anatomy :)

Haha :p Not only could I not afford one, even IF I could do so, I wouldn't get one anyway out of pure principle. I'm sick of the vast majority of people who just gobble up whatever Apple puts out and Steve Jobs says. I just wanted to see what kind of respond I would get in an Android-based smartphone forum lounge ;)
 
Apple iPad 2, Motorola Xoom, or any of the other tablets that cost more than my wife's first wedding set :) aren't going to make there way to my device collection...

$600 on two year contract which will cost me an additional $1200 (for the ful contract period)...just seems extreme considering our smartphones carry the majority of the load.

I'm all about the sub $300 wifi only tablets that are really useful when you don't want to pull out your laptop or want to watch videos sitting on the john! :D

I still view them all as unnecessary.

But as I have had about 10 different computers (laptops or desktops), 7 smartphones, and a few PMP's...all without ever owning an apple product. I'd really hate to end that streak now, so I'd say the iPad is pretty much out of the equation ;)

Edit: BTW...hope you guys finally start feeling better! My daughter just had an ear infection and my son has had a stomach bug w/ fever the last couple of days. I'm guessing I will get hit again soon :(

Her civic. Probably could have hit 140 honestly but an 18 wheeler decided to pass another 18 wheeler as I was hitting top speed. That was a tense moment when the passer came into my lane doing 65:eek:. After that I shut it down. Only a few safe zones around these parts to try and open her up like that.

Hate to say it but if you had what the rest of us had Im afraid you will be sick all weekend. Hope you dont have it like me and others had it :(

I had a 95 Saturn SL1 back in the day. Had that baby up to 74 mph once :D

Son now has bronchitis and an ear infection too. Anyone remember a winter where sickness was coming and going so rapidly? My kids have been sick 4 or 5 times since the fall.
 
Hello again to everyone...long time no see. Just checking in to say hey. February was a rough month, my sister in law and cousin both passed away (both were around 40 years old) and other issues so I've kinda been out of the cell phone loop.

Anyways, I know that the other Samsung phones got Froyo, any news for us in that front?

No, this is the worst winter of illness since the mid 90's. So many people I know across the country are getting sick or their kids are getting sick. Its the worst winter of sickness in probably 15 years. No doubt.

Yeah I think just about every other SGS has a froyo build out officially. No official word on ours. We do have several leaked builds of full froyo though
 
I just want 2 know how 2 use the speaker phone. I'm using a loaner right now. No clue. I can just set it down 4 it 2 go into speaker mode?

yeah the regulars of old are all mia these days..and frankly i just forget to check in here a lot....maybe someone should make a post in fascinate general that this place exists...although it ll never be the same :(
