Samsung Fascinate Lounge

Much thanks! Now if I could only make a small ASCII Fascinate I'd be set...

Thanks yeah I originally was using the SuperUser icon that SirKronan thought was cool too so he stole it and then I gave it up when I realized like 5 guys in here have some variation of that icon. So I went to this and then to the Android with the crest. I didnt like this one at first because I made it in Paint and could not get the background transparent. So yesterday I DL'd Photoshop Elements and finally got a transparent background. But yeah always liked Superman. Back in the 90's people said I looked like Dean Cain who played Superman in that Lois and Clark show, [maybe Im dating myself]. It works for me and its unique

I'm too lazy to Photoshop, I just took a screenshot of the forum and did a MS Paint color match to make the background of mine. I oughta give Photoshop a whirl though.

See this is more like it. We've had more action in here in the past couple hours than the last week. All it takes is a few souls. Shoot the Dinc lounge is pretty much 5-6 people thats it
 
Ah yes.. I really should, it's just that other things distract me. Wanna learn coding apps, and in the middle of making a theme, but can't find a clock widget that I can skin for the theme, so might have to try making one.. And then somehow it's time to go to bed again. If anyone can solve the issue of losing so much of your life sleeping, I'd pay a pretty penny.

Thats a not a bad problem to have. Some of us only sleep 4 hours a night and over time that haunts you :(
 
I suppose not >.< I tend to get between five and six on weekdays; that adds up to quite a bit of time that could be used otherwise. My sympathies for the sleep issues though, that would be rough.
 
Ugh, on the way home we discovered a "Used books/CDs/DVDs" store and spent some money. Keeping it on the focus of the Fascinate though my wife decided she had to let all her friends know about, so what does she do? Does she take a picture of the store? No, she finds a business card for the store and takes a picture of that...oh well.

Good times though, she got a leatherbound copy of Wuthering Heights printed in 1949 that's in excellent condition for $2.80...me, I got a copy of The Incredibles.

Incredibles good movie, convert it for your phone I bet it looks great on the SF
 
Ya know, I have been meaning to ask about that. What's good (preferably free) software to rip my DVDs to a Fascinate-ready format? I'd love to put some stuff on my phone.

Handbrake its free and works great. Makes them mp4 which are very nice looking. Some might like avi's which are a tad smaller but this works to well not to use it

Just about.
If your DVD has commercial encryption you will need another free program to break that. DVD Decrypter, AnyDVD, DVD Shrink there's plenty out there. I used AnyDVD which is a free trial of like 3 weeks. Honestly I ripped everything I wanted to in less than 2 weeks so it didnt matter to me when my trial ended. But there are several permanently free ones.
It helps to have a faster computer when converting these. My i7 rig handles the job nicely but even slower rigs are ok they just take longer
 
Yes agreed! This is a lounge...not a funeral (hopfully)!

Anyway I'm REALLY hoping that verizon releases the white back cover...mine is always covered....but I like the idea that my phone is even a little unique
