Well yes, but in the SS *coughShootMeAddictcough* it shows the min as 100 while Kabob said max AND min were set to 1000. Thought that was a known bug with SetCPU.

Yup, mine says max and min are 1000.

Kabob do you have a custom kernel or just stock. I think if just stock it [SetCPU] shows max and min the same and the sliders are not green. Not 100% sure we'll see based on his response. I might be eating words here in a minute

However, there are 80+ ShootMe shots in my Gallery. And that figure is that low because I have deleted several

Well now that's interesting. They like their forums more uniform, I suppose. Over there is a bit intimidating for me, plus as people mentioned in another thread, the colors there just don't seem as inviting, I'd go as far as to say they're a deterrent. I do wonder if that's on purpose..

Its my fav. I had it first then I tried drocap2 and immediately went back to Shootme. Its too easy for me

Yeah this place is much more socially friendly.
xda is great but its definitely knowledge first; which is fine. Different places have different agendas. Im glad we have both.
Even though I know a lot of us are registered on both. Most of us here lurk or post minimally at xda. Clearly the target demographic is a bit different.
But yeah, color wise AF is friendly and xda is utilitarian.

yeah looks like he and jt are the ones working on it. i just lurk there, i only ever was active the day of my sf screw up. a lot of helpful and familiar guys there but sometimes some of the guys will go on rants and make everyone else sound like an idiot.

Neat little app that was just posted over at Lifehacker (I love that site. And yes, I'm the one post-whoring that topic for some strange reason. This forum has started to cancel out the lurker in me). A compliment to any launcher that brings up a Palm-like task manager, where you can swipe between cards of the current open tasks. It's playing nice with my LP+ so far, I really like it. Only thing I wish it had was custom dock icons, but think I could do that if I put a 1x1 Desktop Visualizer widget there it'd work. So far, I really like it.

yeah i tried that out this morning, its a cool concept, but having used webos extensively it wasnt for me. If you just look the card look its a neat thing to play around with. Maybe future updates to it would put it over the top for me.

Morning gang, although its probably afternoon for most of you. Now brace yourself for this, but I probably won't be around these parts much this weekend, shocking I know. I might actually try to take some pics and vids with my under-used SF camera at some of the various functions I have this weekend. That will give me something to put in that Picture thread back in SF-land.

If your DVD has commercial encryption you will need another free program to break that. DVD Decrypter, AnyDVD, DVD Shrink there's plenty out there. I used AnyDVD which is a free trial of like 3 weeks. Honestly I ripped everything I wanted to in less than 2 weeks so it didnt matter to me when my trial ended. But there are several permanently free ones.
It helps to have a faster computer when converting these. My i7 rig handles the job nicely but even slower rigs are ok they just take longer

Question, popping in a DVD is there any way to tell what sort of encryption it has? I just downloaded HandBrake and put Taken in and it seemed to start fine (I hope I did all the settings right...) and I've had no error messages or anything.

Hello Sky, and welcome to the forums!

I was gonna say it's a random place to ask a question, but I suppose it's the lounge anyway, so doesn't matter much. Anyways, to answer your question, when in the text app, tap and hold the message area (the text box, not the keyboard) and it should bring up a list of options, including Paste.

@Kabob: Sorry, not ignoring you or anything, just dunno the answer. Been meaning to rip some movies myself, though. Would love to rip everything and have it on a server, but that's a bit much right now lol.
