Samsung's Default Music Player

To the Fascinate owners - what are your opinions the default music player?? I've just seen some youtube vids and I have to say it looks like the best player out there. I'm almost getting the Fascinate. I hated the Droid's default player and never found an app I was satisfied with. What are you opinions? :)

I love the music player. I had tried many with my Dinc and X and have to say the stock on the Fas is better than any other I have tried.

its amazing. better than an ipod ( i used to have an iphone 3g )
but it doesnt seem to go loud enough :( i mean some people will think its fine but i like my music LOUD & it doesnt cut it... 100% volume on here is like 85-90% on another device

Its pretty interesting. The 5.1 thing is interesting. What's weird [and maybe Im just dumb] is I dont know how to stop/exit out of the app. Back key just puts it into the player mode or whatever its called. I am going into the task manager and ending it. Is there not a default exit, stop?

I had same problem now to exit it I just close it in task manager also.

IF you're listening to something at the time, yes. If you pause it, you can Back out of it and it'll exit.

Mine will exit then but later will pop up at the top again unless I close it in TM.
Yeah you see I was doing something similar. If music plays then backing out does not exit it. When it goes into the notification bar you can pause it but its still there and open. The only way to close it seems to be to go back into the full screen view and then pause and then back out like Darkhan said

My only qwirk is you cant hide mp3 ringtones from the music player im hoping this is an oversight and is corrected in a future software release!

Check out the equalizer settings. I use a custom setting to my liking and set the music effect to music clarity. This makes a big difference IMHO.

My only complaint (and maybe I'm just missing it) is that I don't see a way to shuffle among all the songs on the player. I'm currently using Double Twist since it has a shuffle option.

The two arrows that cross each other is the shuffle "button"

I liked it, but it won't scrobble to Last.fm by default, no matter which scrobbler you have installed and running in the background. So I opted for the MixZing player instead, which scrobbles to my last.fm account beautifully (you can install either ScrobbleDroid or Simple Last.fm - both of them work with MixZing, however don't install both of them or you will double-scrobble your songs).

Is there a widget for the default music player? I really liked that about the default music player on my old eris.
Not a widget per se. But if you minimize the player you get minimal controls for it in the notification bar zone. Not the best but you can pause and fast forward. Probably not what you are looking for though.

I have the GSII E4GT and just tried out the Music Clarity with auto EQ. Sounds pretty incredible. I ditched Google Music, Mixzing and PowerAmp for this sound quality
