[SGS3-R530M] Metropolis Rom [4.3 Touchwiz]

Well Im running 4.1.2 stock, rooted with some bloatware frozen.

I want to try out shabbs Metropolis Rom.

So which recovery should I install?

On metropolis does bluetooth work? I read the bugs part on his thread but I just want to double check as I use it quite often.

When I flash it over is it going to format my internal memory? I flashed 4.1.2 using mobile odin. And although it shouldnt have wiped the memory, I was one of the few unlucky ones that it did.

Anything else I should be aware of for a smooth transistion?

The toggle is "hold return key" hold and see if the tab reappears then you can use multiwindow just as you did. Same key to remove the tab.

If you dont see it maybe you moved the tab. If you long hold the tab then you can move the tab vertically along the side of the screen.

1. TWRP but i doubt it matters.

2.Bluetooth works flawlessly I use it often as well

3.No it would not wipe your internal memory.

I am currently using metropolis and I love it :)
 
1) any custom recovery is fine

2) i use a bluetooth headset and bluetooth media speakers and both perform flawless for me

3) you will be using a custom recovery so the only way it will get wiped is if you do it (i do however recommend doing a factory reset when you install the rom :) )

ive also merged this thread into my rom thread so that other veterans of my rom can assist should you have any other inquiries :D

Do I have to wipe cache/dalvik?

Ive read the instructions multiple times and see no mention of it.
I only ask because when I would flash rom on another device it would tell me to do so.

I've been running Metro 1.2 for over a week now, and all I have to complain about is that it DOES NOT tell me how awesome I am at EXACTLY 3:15 pm every day.

Shabby, is there ANYTHING that can be done about this major issue???
It's really troublesome, ya know... not sure I can live with this.

Hold the back button for a second and your multi window tab will pop up
 
So what's the allure of multi Window? So you can transfer back and forth quicker? Or am I missing something?

Edit: silly me, I just didn't know you had to long press the app in the multi window pane and drag it to the main part.

Still I won't be able to use it much but it will be cool to floss on others who can't do it.

this is why i love google/android we can set anything up this calender and it will txt u a reminder for which ever time/day/date on your phone like a txt. And yes it can remind you how awesome you are as well lol.
 
I looove this ROM. But the only thing that's keeping me from it is the built in wifi tether doesn't work. I'm constantly tethered to my n7 lol. But other than that, everything seems smooth :thumbup:
