[SGS3-R530M] Metropolis Rom [4.3 Touchwiz]

Same here... no big issue for me, but - every time I boot, my phone freezes and says "Unfortunately, Music Player has stopped."

Nothing major (at least for me - so far), but... WTH?

Whadat meen?
 
As the title says is there a usb tether that works?

I already use the wifi tether mod but Im trying to connect my computer at work (dont judge me :P )and it doesnt utilize wifi. Its a crappy old xp machine.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.
 
hey shabb, or anyone who's reading..? lol was curious if this rom actually has the volume button mod? I ask because I seen someone mention it somewhere but don't see it on feature list or change log.. :D

so jus wondering if I could get a quick yes or no on that matter.. I tried the mod myself and hit a few bumps so need to compare it with a workin rom lolol sorry for my laziness everyone but ive been extremely busy lately.. :/

Think it came with the multi window files? Its not in the feature list or change log cause no one knew it was there at first.

pdanet should work for usb tethering no issues. merging this thread into main rom thread :)
 
Am looking for a new rom and saw this getting good reviews. I know this looks stock but can i do.same things as if i was on a costum rom? Like adding themes and all that?

There are a few mods and themes available for this rom. Look at post 2 in this thread :)

decompile the services.jar, and replace all wifi labelled smali's with stock ;)

can use this one for now FLASHABLE IN RECOVERY!!

haha no prob!! I been ripping this mod apart trying to actually pin point whats needed for it.. and so far I got everything working good, but still need to didect the phonewindowmanager in android.policy.jar.. has 20,000 lines of text so im not rushing! lol

but mainly I want to resolve the wifi arrow issue, which I did already :D and I also want to fix the screenshot edit button FC issue.., then I will blah blah blah and release an update for you guys ;)

didn't post my update yet so figured this information would be more usefull in this thread than mine.. and didn't want to make a whole new thread about it.. but I may consider making a how-to on porting the multiwindow once all my research is complete haha.. till then, enjoy!!!
 
I've noticed when playing music if it's a skit or intro (anything short) it plays out the back speaker and in headphones real low. I don't remember if it's like that in stock too though.
