Shipping date speculation

The wife got hers and had no problem unboxing it before I got home. Pretty nice so far. Strong wifi signal and a beautiful screen. My biggest problem is that the Next Issue app (for the wife's Southern Living magazine) doesn't work. I tried side loading it and it FC's.

I would try emailing the dev although I am sure many are hard at work updating their apps. I have had great luck with emailing them, at least letting me know that they are working on an update.`
 
My N7 just arrived. Oh joy.

Before I tackle the box, I wanted to thank the members of the thread for providing entertainment and enlightenment while I waited.

I pledge to keep reading the tales of sorrow and exultation until the last poor Nexus7less soul moves on to the promised land.

I promise to gloat as little as possible.

Mine finally arrived (I'm writing this post with it). So far so good. I do not see any of the reported defects at this point. Loving it :D
 
Motherlovers finally billed me. I'm extremely disappointed in Google that people that ordered theirs after I did have received theirs before mine was even billed.

I ordered on the 15th and have gotten nothing. Im wondering if mine is considered a preorder or not...

Heh I live in Queens; I'm getting mine in the mail either tomorrow or Thurs. I got a 16GB w/ case on the 27th. When/what did you order?
 
I just checked my card and noticed there is a pending charge from Google. Hopefully it will be here by Friday.

Ordered 16 gb July 3rd.

That happened to me last year when i ordered NBA 2k12. I had the day off and i spent most of it waiting for the game to arrive. It turns out that the UPS guy did not ring or knocked on the door instead the idiot placed the game under the front door carpet outside. I didn't noticed until 6 pm that i went outside to take out the trash. They had not updated the delivery notifications online. I was pissed and happy at the same time.
 
I ordered the basic N7 and no cover. The shipping box was ~9x5x4.5"

Interestingly, it seems that the original tape pieces at either side of the black box had been cut and then re-taped, as though they had forgotten to include the chocolate.(or maybe had to make a quick change to the software. Enquiring Minds Enquire!)
