Shipping date speculation

I guess you can give him a day of great experience and tell him that birthdays are about being together and not about the presents. When you get the tablet give him the present. :-)

yeah, he is going to spend the day tomorrow at the water slides, so he won't miss it. Just kind of a bummer
 
Status just changed to DELIVERED!!!! Called my office at my apartments to make sure the UPS guy dropped it there after reading my note, and they did!!!! Will have the nexus goodness in about 2 and a half hours!!!!
 
Interestingly, I got mine today and my ups guy asked me what it was because he was delivering the same sized boxes all day long.

He also noted several refuse to deliver. lol all those guys who wanted it last friday I guess and went to gamestop.

I called Google yesterday and told me all of the pre-orders are going to be shipped by tomorrow. So unless there is some kind of delay you should obtain it by Friday.

How many times has a google rep said "they are going out for delivery" to somebody on the phone over the last few days? I take that with a pinch of salt! :banghead:
 
LMAO i tried to call to find out about the email sync stuff, and they are flat out not taking any calls at this moment. Or at least when i called at 5:00pm EST.

Exactly, I've heard those relaxed Californian voices telling me that all the orders are shipping now. It's a lie designed to placate us and as of about 20 mins ago I'm properly annoyed.
 
I ordered it yesterday evening (16GB on Google Play). Any idea when should I expect Google to ship it ?
Is there anyone who ordered after 15th and have their status as shipped ?

He does. He took care of my D2 for 8 months, kept it charged, clean, and out of the couch cushions. I was going to get him one of those Chipmunk tablets but I think they turned out to be vaporware. The price difference to the 8GB N7 was small enough, plus the fact that I get the $25 play store credit and I know it will receive updates, that I decided to pull the trigger for him for his 5th birthday.

Not quite as spooky as signing up for the UPS My Choice was the other day though. They wanted to verify I was me, so they presented me with a bunch of stuff like old phone numbers that used to be connected to my house and car registrations that used to be associated with my address. (And this was just UPS - google knows *lots* more about me).

Yeah no kidding about UPS. Two questions made sense that they've would know. The third was about my car and I haven't posted anything about it anywhere.

Congrats parker. I am truly happy for you. Unfortunately, it appears that I have upset the N7 gods and I will be the last holdout in this thread.:rolleyes::D
 
Should be here any minute as the UPS guy usually comes around at around 330-4.

It feels like it was easier to wait the last 4 days of not knowing where my package is rather than the next hour wondering where the actual UPS guy is...
