Here is my updated setup :D

Im going for a minimalistic theme here. In the dock I have my most used apps, and many are set to load a different app with swipe gesture, so I have around 20 apps down there :D




Dock: Launcher pro - so nice to get rid of the sense one.
Weather/clock widget: Fancy widget (what a strange name for a weather widget), its very nice, if the sun/moon icon is tapped you get a 3 day weather forecast.
Background: Dont remember, but i found it on Zedge.
 
I forget after a while how vibrantly the Desire shows colors until people post some of their lovely homescreens. I get so used to the darker colors on my own homescreen.

Yeah, the screen is amazing, and the screenshot doesnt even do it justice!

And yes, me too, that really helped, thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

Anyway, here is one of my right homescreen (I only use two). I just use it for showing batt statt and extended control.

 
Hi all ! New to these forums and only had my Desire for about a month but the info on here has helped alot already, so thanks to all :)

Can anyone tell what the name of the clock below please ? I really like the style...or can anyone recommend any other clocks that are a bit different in style, but still fairly simple in appearance ?? Prefer digital style to analog.

That'll be the ever popular, and awesome Beautiful Widgets. There's 100's of clock styles to choose from. You'll probably find the majority of people who have posted in this thread, use it.

The clock is Beautiful Widgets, with custom clock and weather skins downloaded free from within the BW app.

EDIT: Nagrom beat me to it ;)
 
Well I seem to change my setup as often as my pants... but this is my current one and i quite like it :) Bonus geek points for knowing the background and the pilot!

Framework is a mix of ones I've found and icon's I've made/altered myself. Dock icons I think are Lekky's, doc itself is one of the many on the launcherPro forums. Font is Nip Cens Handwriting using 'font changer'.
Pretty sure most of everything else here has been posted already, feel free to ask though.

You can WITHOUT the weather Icon, but you'll still have the text info underneath the clock. Date, Location, Temp, Weather.

Some great ideas here :cool: I decided to give Launcher pro a go, have put on most of the stuff I need/like, but is there a way of loading the HTC Note widget and the today in history widget on my screens with LP? as they don't come up in the widget options

If you're using any launcher other than HTC Sense, you cant use the inbuilt HTC widgets. Shame really, as the photo viewer widget from HTC is my favourite type of viewer.

HTC wont let you use their widgets with another launcher.

It's like going into Burger King, and eating a Big Mac.
