Well I had a lovely buuf theme before. What I want now is something really crisp. Not had much joy finding icons so may have to make some.

My only worry.is widgets not fitting in.

No idea where to start. Once I have icons, wallpaper is easy.

How would I start making a wordy clock like mine I a few ideas but no talent.

this might be a dumb question but how come you guys hide the notification bar? I know that aesthetically speaking it's not that good but the thing is pretty darn useful... not sure i could live without it :/

I hide mine as it looks a lot nicer with the fullscreen. It still pops up when I have a message etc and if I want to look at it I just swipe any one of my left icons on the dock and it pops up then swipe again and its gone :)

I've found that transparent widgets help with the clean crisp look. Got plenty that I've modded plus some threads on XDA if you want some.

Hi

Can you post details of what you've used to make this screen (all widgets etc).

Thanks

How are you modding? Extract frameworks and put in transparent bg?

On regards to status bar hiding, its a simple swipe to get it back. I don't.need it there all the time.

Here is what I have do far:

Done some more tweaking with Launcher Pro and stuff, this can get seriously addictive :D I need to tidy up my lock screen a bit, but other than that, I am happy.

A good Blog with some good ideas on, and you will see most of the widgets/docks I have used here - HTC HD2 | Android auf dem HTC HD2, Styles, Layouts, Wallpapers, Icons und vieles mehr

I've been failing miserably in making my own xmas icons so I've grabbed a few online as temporary ones. As there weren't that many available that I found that I liked, I've cut down my dock to 2 instead of 3.

I haven't shown three screens but they are just full screen LPP widgets for People, Messages and Facebook.

As for the apps, you've probably seen them on here already and I'm not using that many.

Wow, nice style!

How did you get the icons to be in danish?

In the latest update from Extended Controls you are able to put in custom backgrounds behind the controls. So you make a transparent image with the text and your desired graphics and use that!

To those with iPhone looking lock screens...shame on you, it's blasphemy.

Well - point taken :D but:
It looks better than the standard android slider and it works better than the Sense slider so off course we should use it.

Well, better get that extended control update then!

Finally finished implementing my interpretation of ClassicalGas' fabulous Black Glow theme, truly happy with it ...... for now!!

So I'm assuming you photoshopped that image, threw it on your SD card and picked it for the background?

If so, how did you arrange the actual widget part to fit with the background as I can't seem to find it.

Yes - here is one of my images that I have used as background for one of the controls (does'nt show well here):

As you can see its a 3x1 widget. In the settings you choose your toogles, and under "Theme" you select "Background" and forward it to your image. Then you set "Transparency" to 100% and you disable "indicators", "dividers" and "Labels". There you go...

Sorry mate only just seen this message :D

I found this thread on XDA a while ago and been using this method since. Fairly simple.

[DEV TOOLS] Everything android - xda-developers

Its all in there and explains it. Wait till you are on WiFi to download as it is a pretty big file! Well worth it though as it extracts, mods, rezips, signs and zipaligns everything in one pack :D

Need any tips just ask.
