Those would be Metro icons from here. Each icon is a shortcut to folders of frequently used apps I created using Folder Organizer

You open up Folder Organizer and create a new label, to which you can assign apps, bookmarks or contacts. Then you can add an icon to the label from an icon pack, or from an image file on the phone like I did. Finally, long press on a home screen and add a shortcut to a 'Folder Organizer Folder link' which then creates the folder.
 
Snow? Bloody snow!? Don't talk to me about snow! 3 hours to get to work yesterday, 4 hours home, only 60 miles each way! Damn right I'm leaving early today! :)

...on the positive side, the long journeys gave me time to test my new HTC car dock and charger, and a chance to play with Google maps and navigation.

Off topic I know, but how did the google maps and navigation go? use much data?

Has loads of royalty free, great looking icons.
May re-post my screens soon as i've adjusted a few bits and pieces.

Worked really well actually. Just had my current position showing on vanilla Maps for the first couple of hours, then switched to Navigation. Used about 3.4mb data over 4 hours with screen set to 'always-on', and using the charger meant that I started with 65% battery and arrived home fully charged! ;)
 
i really wish there was a 'like' buttom on some of these posts :D

i couldn't find the link for the metro icons they look quite similar to the icons i have but a little different, am i right in saying you have to be a member of that forum to open the links?

made some tiny changes to my layout, so i'll post pictures soon :)

so it's changed a little bit, nothing special but it works for me. i like the layout and i know where everything is.

Anyone have a link to that wallpaper? Also, what is the widget that is showing the days of the week? dClock doesn't have an option to display the time as text. It looks like this is Clockr to display time and date, but the days of the week is something different?
 
Made a new setup, inspired by this blog ClassicalGas

Feel pretty good about it, so maybe it will stay on for more than a week (old record)...

I finally found out how to do screen captures!!!

Nothing special as I'm not very technical, but I like what I have so far, and I'm learning all the time. Only had the phone since August and love it!

I need some inspiration. Well, icons mainly.

I've gone to an old wallpaper and picked up some random icons which are stupidly small. May have to make some. And maybe make a new clock.
