Show us your Desire Homescreens...

right well I havent done the icons for buttons yet....not sure I will to be fair, I mean most of them will be ok, but trying to line up some that are *IN* the LCARS border *HIDDEN* as part of it like normal LCARS controls is quite difficult...

so anyways...heres just the new colour change to be MORE like the genuine LCARS interface rather than the simple one colour that was on it previously...oh and I added a proper banner at the top now which again looks more LCARS like now.

LockScreen with its "System Locked!" text...which I though was quite nice..

How did you get a seperate wallpaper for each screen?

its the computer interface off star trek :D most notably from next generation onwards lol...sorry tis a lil geeky :p

Ahhh. Thats funny cause I was going to tell you it looked like star trek interface.

I didnt know it was called that you see.

I only really recognise it because of this gif:
Startrek-BSoD.gif

Not sure who is geekier.

haha dan thats funny...

actually got a question regarding minimalistic text widgets....I've created some widgets for just standard links...but can I use minimalistic text in conjunction with folder organiser for say opening a folder?

I cant seem to find the right thing to link it with in the activitys..I can find numerous folder organiser links but not what I want...they either forceclose during test or open the main app..

mmmmm think I might have to turn the mac off and the PC on and get to work in Fireworks and start designing my own docks.

This page has inspired me

Iv been sortve addicted to this thread and been trying to get my desire looking cool. I have launcher pro and havent got a clue how to change the dock icons, i downloaded some onto my pc but thats were my knowledge ends, any good links to help me learn how to change the docks etc? thanks

dock background is in preferences/appearence
to change the icons yoyu simply hold on the dick icon you want to change and change icon or change shortcut then choose the shortcut and corresponding icon

Rastaman, I can't imagine what your 'dick' looks like and why you would need to hold it just to change an icon....? lol

well I think im gonna cook up another batch of homescreens again......getting annoyed with playing with the colours of the 'star trek' one (cos some people dont know Lcars;))...they are always too bright and vivid on the phone as opposed to the computer...

secondly I also cant get the icons to line as I wanted them too so will just switch to something else now :D

I know how to change the dock itself I just dont know how to customize it yourself any help?

I just downloaded one from a website for sizing, then opened it in photoshop, erased it and drew what I wanted.

like I said I would do a new set of screens again lol...im still running with 5 screen and widget locker..

This *ISN'T* a screenshot of my lockscreen but a copy of it...for some reason I have that stupid "mount SD card" issue again whenever I take a shot of it and try to copy it....but this is pretty much what I have..the wallpaper is right though.

Signal = Signal widget
Launcher = Launcher Pro Plus
Dock Icons = Just custom text by me

the wallpaper is just a random android one I picked off google and added two faded black bars on the left edge and dock area...and the windows phone 7 icon in the corner..and using multi live wallpapers..

I need help with this as well. How do I get my icons on the screen to be a text that links to the specific app?

I asked this question many moons ago but can't recall if somebody had a solution, sohere goes again.

Right, using bettercut I can change all icons accept the message icon which switches back immediately. Is there a way round It? ? Isit 'cos I'm using sense?

I think its the same with folder organiser. With folder organiser, the workaround was that it needs to be changed as a widget, not a shortcut. I dont know if better cut has that option though
