when i said i designed it i meant litterally (not as a dev)
this is launcher pro, i made a design for dock background, fonts and app launcher button via photoshop (i love image work)
I then used simifolder to link to one of the dock icons i created so i can better manage my apps
 
ive updated my simi folder to look like my launcher (new simi folder update gives far more configurable options now)

The effects on the dock are nice. I tried something similar but dint look anywhere as nice. My PhotoShop skills are limited though

hmm, pm me an idea sometime. my time is ltd at home but i might be able to hook you up

(just to SURoot, not everyone)

the hardest part was finding a font that fit and didnt look too out of place

yeah unfortunately I'm better with fireworks than photo shop. Although they are both Rasta (pun intended), I just cant get my head around CS4. Much seems to be missing for me.
 
The problem with Cs4 is its ridiculously difficult to draw a straight line. I need a line draw tool thats simple to use damit!

I haven't tried any other versions for a long time to be honest.
 
Today, inspired with this topic, I decided to change something on my Desire. And change I did.

What did I get as a result? Much better responsiveness and speeeeeeeeeeed! Anyway, not much, but here it is.








Launcher: LauncherPro Plus
Clock/weather: Minmalistic Text
Power control widget: Extended Controls
Battery widget: Circle Battery Widget

With the brush tool or pencil tool, hold down shift while drawing and it will snap to horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines :)
Or you can draw one point, release the mouse button move to another spot, hold down shift and click, and a line will appear between those two points :D

I'd like to call myself a Photoshop expert, so if you need any help, feel free to ask ;)

I had a creative block. My Fiance gave me the idea.

Looks a bit rough zoomed in on the screeny, but looks good on the actual screen
 
well I been busy today back in my native paint shop pro....not like last week with paint lol...thank god..

and I've thrown myself headfirst into my LCARS wallpapers I converted...though now I've gone further with colour and thinking of adding custom LCARS icons as well...

the screen here ISNT a live screen..the buttons and people widget are mock ups...this hasnt been fully finished yet...its a tester to see how it looks...so enjoy..
