Hi, would you mind sharing the wallpaper
Sure, just found on a google image search:

I get about 20 hours with JUICE DEFENDER and maybe 12 without.

Yes because juice defender blocks the apps that need internet access from connecting. You could just set the apps that need the connection up in such a way that they are not trying to connect. Then you get 20 hours without juice defender.

You asked for a solution and this Is it.

If you can't figure out how to set all the apps up manually, you could buy tasker and it could also schedule turning the apn off. Solution 2

Agreed. It could be done in each app manually. But this provides a single place to do it. In use I actually don't use the schedule on/off part of JD. I mainly use it to auto switch off WiFi based on my location and also to disable both that and APN over night. I also underclock my CPU a little, and reduce the idle CPU speed. In fact I probably use all the other features more than the core 'Schedule' feature :D
Oh, and I have it keep all Data off when battery is below 15% to max the time I can still make/receive calls when running low.

I only enable the schedules when I know I'm going to be away from power for an extended period to make it last that bit longer.

Ah right. Well tasker will do all that and much much more. Granted, its hard to use and costs a few quid, but its the best app I have ever bought (except set cpu).

Its worth a look if nothign else. Although I cant use it to its potential yet. I have set times for wifi on and off, silent mode on and off, profiles for people calling me to turn it off silent then back on after the call. Also I text people I know if I miss their call, saying I will call them later.

Its a good app, but it could be easier to use Im sure.

This is my second lot of screen shots, im quite pleased with this one, think im gunna stick with it for a while (lol as we all say all the time).

Main screen:

Beautiful widgets super clock with battery indicator 4x1, off the top of my head i cant remember if this is a paid app, from the market.

Text widget from the market for the word widgets, theres a free version but i opted for the donate version, very much worth it.

Desktop visualizer to change the app icons, free from the market.

Wallpaper, to be honest i cant remember where its from, probably Flikie or Zedge, both free from the market.

System panel end all 1x1 widget free from the market, yes yes yes i know! i dont need a task killer, i just like to know whats going on in the backgroud and kill a few unnecessary apps if need be :p.

How did you get the side bar to stay where it is? Ive been playing around with putting bars on the wallpaper with PS, but I can't get them to stay in one place, or lined up rifght. Even when I disable screen scrolling in LP.

Andy

well I made EACH screen seperatly...this isnt one scrolling wallpaper...the trick is using an app called multi live wallpaper on the market....which will allow you to custom ANY screen you have and allow you to use a different 240 x 400 picture for each screen...

thus in mine I created a side 'bar' after much trial and error to get it to line with the largest icon I would place 'in' it...just a matter of playing around then till your happy...

but multi live wallpaper is what you need to make it all work perfect on the phone...and thats the key to making some great theme style designs....mine weren't perfect but they helped me play around with designs and learn some other techniques for my now "Classical Gas" inspired design using the side bar shorcuts to screens etc..

Thanks. Just downloaded multi live wallpaper. I'll have to give this a go.

First screenshot - just managed to get it figured out today -- thank you to the awesome forum for help with this.
Just a very simple screen (today!) No where near as amazing as the others posted here.
Each of the gems in the dock has a blank icon and so each will start an app when tapped.
