How do you put a widget on top of another?

Because you can't stack widgets directly, I first put the other widgets above the black bar and then stretched them vertically towards the bottom of the screen with LauncherPro (long-press on a widget to resize). The widgets then overlap with the black bar and appear to be on top of it.

Thanks, that seems to be similar but no the exact one.

Edit, looks like the pro version is needed to get better customisation like above.

Nice wallpaper.

I always want to post mine, then realise its exactly the same as before.

I may start creating widget locker themes and I'll post them if I do. the new release is great now. No more apk edit and swapping out one of teh native locks. Nope. As many custom themes as you want.

I don't think it's quite there yet. The author either needs to document how WL scales your elements in the current release, or make scaling adjustable in the next release. Lots of griping about slider and background sizes going on; I had a hard time porting a theme and kept doing it over and over because it didn't look right, before realising that WL itself was scaling the icons down.

Edit: And why not, my lockscreen:

Icons in the bottom right show unread counts when applicable thanks to SMS Unread Count.

And homescreen:

Thought I'd jump on the bandwagon and post my screenshots. List of apps below!

Apps I've used are Launcher Pro and the background is from Zedge. Clock and weekday display from mClock. Other stuff you can see are Astrid Tasks and Acast (for podcasts).

The dev is very responsive. I had an email convo with him asking about themes. Mine is asymmetric you see.

He pointed me to some instructions

It just needs a 1 pixel border around the bg image. Then you put 1 black pixel or more telling wl where to stretch.

Well its that time again...

its not that much different, all I did change was the background image, used a new font for the side text (worms 3D style text now) and added colour to the 'screen' select icons now..trying to add like a faded glow to them now..which I think works with the background...

oh also using the newest widget locker with a custom lock on it...its just the large arrow lock from XDA but I just resized it in paint shop pro cos it was too small for my liking..

I will say my other half hates that I keep changing it :p:D
